Is Daylite right for you?
What buyers should know before shortlisting Daylite
Daylite is a CRM built for Apple users—macOS, iOS, and iCloud sync are native. Before shortlisting, verify that your team works primarily on Apple devices.
If you have Windows users or need a web interface for non-Mac collaborators, Daylite won't work for them; there is no web app. iPad functionality is limited compared to the Mac version, so mobile-heavy teams should test the iPad experience in a demo.
Check whether the offline sync model fits your workflow—it syncs when connected, but doesn't offer real-time collaboration like cloud-native CRMs. Daylite's feature set is deep: contacts, tasks, projects, email integration, and custom fields.
The interface has a learning curve, especially if you're new to the product. Spend time in the demo exploring the exact workflows you need—task management, project tracking, contact organization—to confirm the feature layout matches how your team works.
Ask the vendor about API limits and third-party integrations; Daylite integrates with some tools but not all. Pricing is per-user, per-month.
Confirm the total cost for your team size and whether you need the higher tier for advanced features. There are no per-contact or per-project overage fees, but you pay for every user who needs access.
If you have contractors or part-time staff who need occasional access, factor that into your budget. Test the free trial with your actual data and workflows before committing.
