Quick answer: ZoomInfo’s main platform is quote-only: paid plans are custom-priced on team size, credit volume, features, integrations and contract length. The public price points that do exist: ZoomInfo Lite is free (10 credits a month, 25 with Community Edition); ZoomInfo’s AWS Marketplace listings show 12-month public offers of $3,000 for ZoomInfo Sales Basic (1 user, 2,000 bulk credits) and $34,995 for ZoomInfo Sales; and ZoomInfo’s new pay-as-you-go GTM.AI API starts free with top-ups from $20. On real contracts, SpendHound’s data from 441 ZoomInfo customers puts average spend at $48,524 a year for companies with 50 to 1,000 employees. Checked September 2026.
ZoomInfo is the most searched data vendor that does not publish a price list. That leaves buyers piecing together numbers from Reddit threads and competitor blogs. This guide sticks to three kinds of source: what ZoomInfo publishes itself, ZoomInfo’s own public marketplace offers, and named spend-data platforms. Every figure is attributed.
If you are still choosing between ZoomInfo and a self-serve tool, our Apollo vs ZoomInfo comparison covers the data trade-offs.
How Much Does ZoomInfo Cost?
ZoomInfo’s own pricing guide says paid plans “are not published at a fixed price” and every contract is scoped to the customer. The numbers you can actually verify:
| Option | Price | What you get | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZoomInfo Lite | $0 | 10 credits a month (25 with Community Edition), WebSights Lite with up to 10 company reveals a day, Chrome extension | ZoomInfo pricing guide |
| GTM.AI (API, MCP, CLI) | Free to start, top-ups from $20 | 1,000 data credits + 1,000 AI credits at signup; pay as you go after that; no contract, no seat fees | gtm.ai/pricing |
| ZoomInfo Sales Basic | $3,000 for 12 months | 1 user and 2,000 bulk credits | AWS Marketplace |
| ZoomInfo Sales | $34,995 for 12 months | Base platform access, bulk credits and Premium features | AWS Marketplace |
| ZoomInfo Marketing | $69,995 for 12 months | ABM Pro+ access, additional premium add-ons available | AWS Marketplace |
| ZoomInfo Operations | $39,000 for 12 months | Enrich Premium+, 0 to 250,000 records | AWS Marketplace |
| ZoomInfo Talent | $15,000 for 12 months | Base platform access (Americas, APAC and non-GDPR EU data) | AWS Marketplace |
Checked September 2026. The AWS listings are ZoomInfo’s own public offers and also show 24- and 36-month terms; ZoomInfo invites private offers for custom pricing. The zoominfo.com pricing page itself returned a bot check when we tried to read it, so nothing here is taken from it. Spotsaas also keeps notes at ZoomInfo pricing on Spotsaas.
What Companies Actually Pay for ZoomInfo
Because quotes vary, the most realistic budget numbers come from platforms that see real invoices:
- SpendHound reports, from de-identified spend data on 441 ZoomInfo customers, an average of $48,524 a year for companies with 50 to 1,000 employees and $166,802 a year for companies over 1,000 employees. It also reports year-over-year increases of 8.93% for SMB and 4.57% for enterprise customers. Source: SpendHound’s ZoomInfo pricing page.
- Vendr describes ZoomInfo’s contract structure from its transaction data: a base platform fee plus per-seat licences, with data governed by credit allocations or export limits sold in blocks. Vendr reports buyers commonly get 15% to 30% off initial quotes on two- to three-year commitments and 10% to 20% for annual prepayment. Source: Vendr’s ZoomInfo pricing guide.
These are averages across very different deals. A single-seat SMB contract can be far below $48,524; a multi-product enterprise deal far above.
How ZoomInfo’s Pricing Model Works
ZoomInfo’s pricing guide names five factors that drive a quote:
- Team size. Paid plans include a minimum number of seats and scale with headcount.
- Credit volume. ZoomInfo calls this the primary cost lever for high-volume prospecting teams.
- Features. Intent data, technographics and full WebSights sit on paid tiers and raise the cost.
- Integrations and API access.
- Contract length. Multi-year agreements “typically carry better rates.”
ZoomInfo sells separate platforms for sales, marketing, operations and talent teams. Vendr notes that bundling several of them is a common route to a better per-seat price.
What Does a ZoomInfo Credit Buy?
In the main platform, ZoomInfo defines a credit as “a unit consumed when you download a verified contact record.” It also says a basic record (name, title, company, email) consumes fewer credits than one with technographics, org charts or intent layered in. ZoomInfo does not publish a per-credit price for the main platform.
GTM.AI, ZoomInfo’s newer API and MCP product, is more transparent. Its pricing page says 1 data credit equals 1 profile enrichment, search and lookup are free, and an AI action costs about 1 to 20 AI credits. ZoomInfo’s own worked examples on that page price 500 data credits at $215 (about $0.43 each) and 500 AI credits at $25. Credits expire 12 months after they are granted. Mobile phone data is listed only in enterprise packages.
What 1,000 Contacts a Month Costs With ZoomInfo
Three ways to look at 1,000 contacts a month (12,000 a year), using only published or named-source numbers:
| Route | Calculation | Approximate cost |
|---|---|---|
| GTM.AI pay as you go | 1,000 data credits a month at ZoomInfo’s example rate of $215 per 500 | About $430 a month (about $5,160 a year), before the launch discount on your first top-up and without mobile numbers |
| ZoomInfo Sales Basic on AWS | 2,000 bulk credits a year for $3,000 | Covers about 2 months of this volume; you would need a larger package |
| Full ZoomInfo Sales contract | SpendHound SMB average | About $48,524 a year (about $4,044 a month), with seats, platform and credits bundled |
ZoomInfo’s own guide offers a sizing rule of thumb: a 5-person SDR team exporting 50 contacts a day each uses roughly 1,000 credits a week. ZoomInfo calls that figure illustrative. Use it to sanity-check the credit number in your quote.
Is There a Free Version of ZoomInfo?
Yes. ZoomInfo Lite is a permanent free tier with no credit card and no annual commitment. It includes 10 credits a month (25 with Community Edition), the Chrome extension, basic outreach tools and WebSights Lite, which reveals up to 10 companies visiting your website per day. ZoomInfo positions Lite as a way to measure your real usage before buying a paid credit volume.
GTM.AI is a second free entry point for technical teams: 1,000 data credits and 1,000 AI credits at signup through the API, MCP or CLI, with no card required.
Hidden Costs in a ZoomInfo Contract
These come from Vendr’s ZoomInfo guide, based on its transaction data, unless noted:
- Annual price escalators. Vendr says ZoomInfo contracts often include annual escalation clauses, typically 5% to 10%.
- Auto-renewal. Automatic renewal clauses are common, with notice periods typically 30 to 90 days. Vendr recommends negotiating 90 to 120 days.
- Credit overages. Exceeding contracted credits or export limits triggers overage fees that Vendr describes as “often priced at a premium to the base rate.”
- Add-ons. Intent data, Chorus conversation intelligence, website visitor tracking and advanced API access usually cost extra.
- Services. Onboarding, training and custom integrations may be charged on enterprise contracts.
- Seat minimums. ZoomInfo’s own guide says paid plans include a minimum number of seats.
Is ZoomInfo Worth the Money?
ZoomInfo makes sense when data coverage and depth are the bottleneck: large territories, many buying-committee roles, and teams that will actually use intent, org charts and technographics. It is hard to justify for a small team that mostly needs verified emails, where self-serve tools cost a fraction as much. The honest test is to run ZoomInfo Lite or GTM.AI credits against your own target list, compare hit rates with a self-serve tool, then negotiate with those results in hand.
Cheaper Alternatives to ZoomInfo
- Apollo.io: free plan, then $49 to $119 per seat per month billed annually. See Apollo.io pricing.

How to Get a Better ZoomInfo Quote
- Measure usage first. Use Lite or GTM.AI credits for a few weeks to learn how many records you really export.
- Negotiate credits, not just seats. Lock in the credit volume and the overage rate in the order form.
- Cap the escalator. Ask for a fixed renewal price or a cap on annual increases.
- Put the notice period in writing. Diary the renewal date minus the notice period.
- Time the deal. Vendr reports better outcomes when buyers negotiate near ZoomInfo’s fiscal quarter-ends.
- Bring a published alternative. Apollo’s or Lusha’s list price is a concrete anchor.
The Short Version
ZoomInfo is quote-only for its main platform. Free entry points exist (Lite, and GTM.AI’s 1,000 free credits), ZoomInfo’s own AWS offers run from $3,000 for one user to $34,995 for ZoomInfo Sales over 12 months, and SpendHound reports average spend of $48,524 a year for companies with 50 to 1,000 employees. Negotiate credits, overage rates, escalators and renewal notice before you sign.

Frequently Asked Questions About ZoomInfo Pricing
How much does ZoomInfo cost per year?
There is no list price. ZoomInfo’s AWS Marketplace offers range from $3,000 a year for one user with 2,000 credits to $34,995 for ZoomInfo Sales. SpendHound’s customer data puts the average at $48,524 a year for companies with 50 to 1,000 employees.
Can I use ZoomInfo for free?
Yes, in two ways. ZoomInfo Lite is free with 10 credits a month (25 with Community Edition). GTM.AI gives 1,000 data credits and 1,000 AI credits free at signup for API, MCP or CLI use.
Does ZoomInfo offer a free trial?
ZoomInfo’s own pricing guide does not describe a time-limited trial of the paid platform. It points new users to ZoomInfo Lite, a permanent free tier, as the way to test the data and calibrate usage before a paid contract.
How much is one ZoomInfo credit?
For the main platform, ZoomInfo does not publish a per-credit price. On GTM.AI, ZoomInfo’s own examples price 500 data credits at $215, about $0.43 each, and 500 AI credits at $25.
Does ZoomInfo auto-renew?
Commonly, yes. Vendr’s transaction data shows auto-renewal clauses are common in ZoomInfo contracts, often with 5% to 10% annual escalators and 30 to 90 days’ notice. Check your order form.
Why is ZoomInfo so expensive?
You are paying for a platform fee, per-seat licences and a block of credits, often plus add-ons like intent data and conversation intelligence. For large teams that use all of it, the per-seat cost falls; for small teams that only need emails, most of that bundle goes unused.
What are cheaper alternatives to ZoomInfo?
Apollo.io, Lusha and RocketReach all publish self-serve prices, starting from free plans up to about $1,700 a year for a single seat. Seamless.AI is quote-based, but SpendHound’s reported average spend for it is about a sixth of ZoomInfo’s.
