Seamless.AI vs ZoomInfo 2026: Data, Pricing and Contract Terms

Quick answer: ZoomInfo is the deeper, more expensive platform: a curated database of 500M+ profiles with intent data, website visitor tracking, conversation intelligence and workflow tools, sold on quote-only annual contracts (SpendHound reports an average of $48,524 a year for mid-size companies). Seamless.AI, now branded Seamless, is a cheaper “real-time search engine” for contacts, claiming 1.8B+ emails and 414M+ phone numbers, also quote-only above its free plan (SpendHound average: $7,991 a year). Choose ZoomInfo for enterprise data depth and intent. Choose Seamless for high-volume US list building on a smaller budget, and read its renewal terms closely. Checked September 2026.

Seamless.AI and ZoomInfo sell to the same buyer, the sales leader who needs more contacts, but they are built on opposite ideas. ZoomInfo stores and maintains a database. Seamless says it searches for contact data in real time when you ask. Both sell annual contracts through sales reps, both publish a free tier, and both have loud critics on review sites. This comparison separates what each vendor claims from what can be checked.

What Is the Difference Between Seamless.AI and ZoomInfo?

The core difference is how the data is produced. ZoomInfo says its research team verifies records before you query them, and it publishes regional coverage: 157.8M+ contacts in North America, 66M+ in Europe, 68.3M+ in Asia and 28.7M+ in South America. It then layers intent signals, website visitor identification, conversation intelligence (Chorus) and workflow tools on top.

Seamless positions itself directly against that model. Its homepage says ZoomInfo stores information “in databases that can quickly get stale”, while Seamless searches in real time and updates 100+ data points per profile continuously. Those are marketing claims, and Seamless publishes no regional breakdown to test them against. In practice, Seamless is used mainly for building large US contact lists quickly and pushing them into a CRM or sequencer.

ZoomInfo is a go-to-market platform with data at its centre. Seamless is a contact finder that has been adding engagement features, most recently Connect for email, calling and social outreach, launched alongside its February 2026 rebrand from Seamless.AI to Seamless.

Seamless.AI vs ZoomInfo Pricing

Neither vendor publishes a price for its paid plans. Here is everything that can be verified:

Price point ZoomInfo Seamless.AI
Free Lite: 10 credits a month (25 with Community Edition) Free: 1 user, 50 credits
Published entry offer AWS Marketplace: Sales Basic, 1 user and 2,000 bulk credits, $3,000 for 12 months None; Pro starts at 10,000 annual credits, price on request
Main platform AWS Marketplace: ZoomInfo Sales $34,995 for 12 months Enterprise: unlimited users, custom packages
Pay-as-you-go GTM.AI (API, MCP, CLI): 1,000 data + 1,000 AI credits free, top-ups from $20; ZoomInfo’s example: 500 enriched leads for $215 None published
Average spend, companies with 50 to 1,000 employees $48,524 a year (SpendHound, 441 customers) $7,991 a year (SpendHound, 49 customers)
Average spend, 1,000+ employees $166,802 a year $18,159 a year

Sources: ZoomInfo’s GTM.AI pricing and AWS Marketplace listings, Seamless pricing, and SpendHound’s customer spend data, checked September 2026. SpendHound figures are averages across very different deals, not rate cards.

What 1,000 contacts a month costs. The only published per-record price in this comparison is ZoomInfo’s GTM.AI example: 500 enriched leads for $215, or about $430 for 1,000, charged once per record per year. Seamless charges one credit per contact researched, so 1,000 contacts a month is 12,000 credits a year, just above the 10,000-credit Pro starting package. Its per-credit price is not published, so you need a quote.

On both, the contract is the real cost driver. Vendr reports that ZoomInfo buyers commonly get 15 to 30% off initial quotes for two- to three-year terms. Seamless’s terms of use make every paid subscription annual, even if billed monthly, and renew it automatically unless you cancel at least 60 days before the renewal date.

Data Coverage: Which Has Better Data?

ZoomInfo has the stronger case on paper: published coverage by region, published hit rates by data type, and a large intent network. It is also North America-weighted, with more than twice as many contacts listed for North America as for Europe.

Seamless’s headline numbers are bigger (1.8B+ emails) but measure something different: every address its engine has researched, not a curated set of current profiles. Its Credit Back Protection returns credits for emails its own verification marks invalid, excluding soft bounces, role addresses and emails that later went dead, at Seamless’s discretion.

Neither vendor’s accuracy claims have been independently audited in public. The only reliable test is your own: pull the same 200 target contacts from both trials and measure bounces and phone connect rates.

Is Seamless.AI a Good Company? What Reviews Say

Source ZoomInfo Seamless.AI
G2 (as cited by each vendor) 4.5 out of 5, 8,905 reviews (ZoomInfo homepage badge) Seamless cites its G2 customer-satisfaction ranking in its rebrand release
Trustpilot 1.8 out of 5, 337 reviews 1.3 out of 5, 310 reviews (81% one-star)
BBB Not checked “F” rating, not accredited, 82 complaints closed in 3 years

Checked September 2026 on Trustpilot (ZoomInfo), Trustpilot (Seamless) and the BBB profile for Seamless.AI.

The pattern is the same for both: high scores on G2, where reviewers are mostly active users, and low scores on complaint-driven sites. For Seamless, Trustpilot’s summary of reviews points to data accuracy, unresponsive support and auto-renewals that are hard to cancel. For ZoomInfo, it points to inaccurate contact details, unwanted outreach and restrictive agreements. If you buy either, put the renewal date in your calendar the day you sign.

What Is the Lawsuit Against ZoomInfo?

The best-known case is Ramos v. ZoomInfo Technologies, a class action alleging that ZoomInfo used people’s names, job titles and partial contact details in free “preview” profiles to advertise subscriptions without their consent, under right-of-publicity laws in California, Illinois, Indiana and Nevada. ZoomInfo settled for $29.55 million without admitting wrongdoing, and the court granted final approval in November 2024 (settlement website).

What Happened at ZoomInfo? Who Owns It?

ZoomInfo has not been bought. It remains a public company, ZoomInfo Technologies Inc., but in May 2025 its Nasdaq ticker changed from ZI to GTM, according to its SEC filing. In May 2026 it announced a restructuring cutting about 600 roles, roughly 20% of headcount, and it has since launched GTM.AI, a pay-as-you-go API and MCP route to its data. The “who bought ZoomInfo” question likely traces back to 2019, when DiscoverOrg acquired Zoom Information and took the ZoomInfo name.

Can You Use ZoomInfo and Seamless Together?

You can, and some large teams do: ZoomInfo for core account data, intent and CRM enrichment, and Seamless seats for reps who need extra contact volume. For most companies it is hard to justify, because the two overlap heavily and both require annual commitments. If ZoomInfo’s coverage is the gap, a pay-on-success waterfall tool is usually a cheaper top-up; see our Clay alternatives guide.

Who Should Choose ZoomInfo

  • Mid-market and enterprise teams that need intent data, website visitor tracking and CRM enrichment in one contract.
  • Companies selling across regions where published coverage matters.
  • RevOps teams that will use Operations, GTM Studio or the API.
  • Buyers with budget and leverage to negotiate multi-year terms.

Who Should Choose Seamless.AI

  • SMB and mid-market teams doing high-volume US outbound.
  • Budgets closer to $8,000 a year than $50,000.
  • Reps who build lists from the Chrome extension and want a built-in dialer.
  • Buyers willing to manage an annual contract with a 60-day cancellation window.

If neither fits, compare self-serve options in ZoomInfo alternatives and Apollo.io alternatives.

How to Choose Between Seamless.AI and ZoomInfo

  1. Set your budget first. Public spend data puts ZoomInfo at roughly six times Seamless for mid-size companies.
  2. List the features beyond contacts. Intent, visitor identification, conversation intelligence and CRM hygiene point to ZoomInfo. Pure list building points to Seamless.
  3. Run a side-by-side trial. Use ZoomInfo Lite and the Seamless free plan on the same target accounts, and measure bounce and connect rates.
  4. Negotiate the contract, not just the price. Ask for renewal caps, a shorter notice period and credit rollover in writing.
  5. Check data compliance for your markets. Ask both vendors how they handle opt-outs and European data.

It is cheaper, not better across the board. ZoomInfo has published regional coverage, intent data and more platform features. Seamless suits teams that mainly need large US contact lists at a lower annual cost.

How much does Seamless.AI cost compared with ZoomInfo?
