Rewards Management
Reward System is defined as a "integration of the sources and actions that inform the selection of a mix of rewards intended at aiding employee attraction and retention, as well as encouraging employees' effort, cooperation, and desire to learn new skills and adapt to change." Rewards management is responsible for the distribution of rewards and recognition to an individual or a group that has fulfilled a particular task or completed a project. It is part of the HR department, but differs from employee and payroll management. Most companies use rewards management systems as part of a larger rewards strategy.
