Quick answer: Gong is quote-only. Its pricing page says you pay a license fee per user plus a platform fee based on how many users you have, and that integrating your existing tools is free. Gong publishes no dollar figures. The best public benchmark is Vendr, whose buyer data puts the median Gong contract at $55,333 a year across 1,141 purchases, and typical per-seat rates at roughly $1,200 to $2,400 per user per year. Checked September 2026.
Search “gong pricing” and the top results are Gong’s own form and a pile of estimates with no source. This guide sticks to what can be traced: how Gong says it prices, what Vendr’s transaction data shows, what Gong’s AWS Marketplace listing reveals (and does not), and what that means for a 5-rep and a 20-rep team. Every third-party figure below is attributed.
Spotsaas keeps buyer notes on its Gong pricing page. For the wider category, see conversation intelligence software.
How Much Does Gong Cost?
Gong does not list prices. Its pricing page lists three rules and then asks for your team size (1 to 50, 51 to 1,000, 1,001 to 9,999, or 10,000+) before a sales conversation:
- Licenses are priced per user.
- There is a platform fee based on the number of users supported.
- You can integrate your existing tech stack for free.
So a Gong quote has two parts: a per-seat license and a platform fee that scales with your user count. Neither number is public. The figures that follow come from named third parties.
How Much Does Gong Cost per Year? What Vendr’s Data Shows
Vendr, a SaaS purchasing platform, publishes aggregated data from Gong deals it has seen:
| Metric (Vendr) | Figure |
|---|---|
| Median annual contract | $55,333 per year |
| Deals in the dataset | 1,141 purchases |
| Low end of Vendr’s range | $11,474 per year |
| High end of Vendr’s range | $203,173 per year |
| Average saving buyers achieved | 14% |

Vendr’s commentary adds per-seat ranges by segment. It says small teams commonly pay about $1,600 to $2,400 per seat per year for Gong’s standard tier on one-year contracts, mid-market deployments about $1,400 to $2,200, and enterprise deployments of 100+ seats about $1,200 to $1,800. Larger seat counts get lower per-seat rates.
How Much Is Gong per Seat?
Using Vendr’s ranges, Gong works out to roughly $100 to $200 per user per month when you divide the annual per-seat figures by twelve ($1,200 to $2,400 a year). That is before the platform fee, which Gong charges separately and does not publish. Vendr notes that some contracts include a base platform or onboarding fee, so ask for both lines itemized.
Gong per-seat pricing by company size
| Segment (Vendr’s grouping) | Typical per-seat price per year | Per seat per month equivalent | What moves it lower |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small teams, standard tier, 1-year | $1,600 to $2,400 | About $133 to $200 | Multi-year terms, competitive evaluation |
| Standard tier, 25 to 75 seats, 1-year | $1,400 to $2,000 | About $117 to $167 | 15% to 25% off initial quotes is typical |
| Advanced tier, 50 to 150 seats | $1,800 to $2,600 | About $150 to $217 | Larger seat counts, multi-year |
| Mid-market, standard and advanced | $1,400 to $2,200 | About $117 to $183 | Bundling add-ons, multi-year |
| Enterprise, 100+ seats | $1,200 to $1,800 | About $100 to $150 | Volume; 200+ seat deals often 25% to 35% off quotes |
Source: Vendr commentary on its Gong transaction data, checked September 2026. Monthly equivalents are simple division by twelve. The spread is wide because Gong negotiates every deal; the only fixed thing is the structure of seats plus platform fee.
Gong’s Products and Add-Ons
Gong sells a core platform plus modules. The product menu on its site lists Gong Engage (sales engagement), Gong Forecast, Gong Enable and the Gong Revenue Graph, plus AI agents. On its AWS Marketplace listing, Gong splits pricing into three dimensions: Conversation Intelligence, Engage and Forecast.
Vendr’s data says Gong Engage and Gong Forecast are commonly quoted at 20% to 40% of the base platform cost per seat, and that adding modules at signing usually gets better pricing than adding them mid-contract.
What the AWS Marketplace listing tells you
Gong sells through AWS Marketplace, which lets companies spend committed AWS budget on it. The listing shows each of the three modules as “Available Through Private Offer Only” with a $100,000 per 12 months placeholder. That figure is a listing placeholder, not a price: every AWS purchase is a negotiated private offer. The listing is useful if your finance team wants to buy through AWS, not as a price benchmark.
What 5 Reps and 20 Reps Pay for Gong
Because Gong publishes nothing, these are estimates built by multiplying Vendr’s per-seat ranges. They exclude the platform fee, which you must get from Gong.
| Team | Vendr per-seat range used | Licenses per year | Plus |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 reps | $1,600 to $2,400 (small teams, standard tier, 1-year) | $8,000 to $12,000 | Platform fee, add-ons |
| 20 reps | $1,600 to $2,400 (small teams, standard tier, 1-year) | $32,000 to $48,000 | Platform fee, add-ons |
| 20 reps with Engage or Forecast | Add 20% to 40% of base per seat (Vendr) | About $38,400 to $67,200 | Platform fee |
Arithmetic on Vendr’s published ranges, checked September 2026. Not a Gong quote.
For context, the bottom of Vendr’s contract range is $11,474 a year. A five-rep team should expect a total in that neighborhood or above once the platform fee is added, which is why very small teams often find Gong hard to justify.
Hidden Costs and Contract Terms to Negotiate
These come from Vendr’s analysis of Gong contracts, not from Gong’s own terms, so treat them as what to ask about:
- Platform fee. Charged on top of seats and scaled to user count (Gong’s own pricing page).
- Annual or multi-year contracts. Vendr says two- and three-year terms commonly unlock 15% to 30% lower annual pricing, at the cost of flexibility.
- Adding seats mid-contract. Vendr reports overage seats are often 10% to 20% more per seat than the contracted rate; negotiate annual true-ups instead.
- Auto-renewal and escalators. Vendr says contracts often auto-renew with 5% to 10% annual increases; ask for a renewal cap.
- Modules. Engage and Forecast add 20% to 40% per seat if bought later.
Is Gong Worth It?
Gong earns its price when three things are true: you have enough reps that coaching at scale matters, managers will actually review calls and deal boards, and deal sizes are large enough that one saved deal a quarter covers the contract. Gong’s strength is analysis across every call, email and meeting, not just recording.
It is harder to justify for a team of a handful of reps who mostly need recordings, transcripts and meeting summaries. Many meeting assistants and sales engagement suites now include those. If your main need is sequencing with some call insight, a sales engagement platform that includes conversation intelligence may replace two tools; see Outreach.io pricing and Salesloft pricing.
Who Are Gong’s Biggest Competitors?
- Clari + Salesloft: Clari’s forecasting merged with Salesloft’s engagement and conversation intelligence in December 2025. See Salesloft pricing and Clari pricing notes.
- Outreach: its Amplify Essentials package centers on conversation intelligence and coaching. See Outreach.io pricing.
- Chorus (ZoomInfo): conversation intelligence sold alongside ZoomInfo data. See Chorus pricing notes.
- Lighter meeting recorders for teams that mainly need transcripts and summaries.
- Cloud phone systems with AI call features for teams whose main need is recorded, summarized calls. See JustCall vs Aircall.

Is Gong an Israeli Company? Is It Like Salesforce?
Gong lists two offices on its About page: San Francisco (201 Spear Street) and Tel Aviv, Israel (Icon Tower, Ramat Gan). So it operates in both the US and Israel.
Gong is not a CRM like Salesforce. It sits alongside your CRM, captures calls, emails and meetings, and pushes insights and activity into it. You still need a CRM to hold accounts, contacts and opportunities.
How to Get a Better Gong Quote
- Ask for the platform fee and per-seat license as separate lines. Gong’s own pricing page confirms both exist.
- Bring Vendr’s median. $55,333 a year across 1,141 deals is a public reference point.
- Price modules now. Engage and Forecast cost more mid-contract, per Vendr.
- Negotiate seat flexibility and a renewal cap before signing a multi-year term.
- Run a competitive evaluation. Vendr says competitive evaluations and multi-year terms often unlock 15% to 25% off initial quotes.
The Short Version
Gong charges a per-user license plus a platform fee and publishes no prices. Vendr’s buyer data puts the median contract at $55,333 a year, with most per-seat rates between about $1,200 and $2,400 a year. Five reps should budget at least $8,000 to $12,000 in licenses plus the platform fee; twenty reps $32,000 to $48,000 plus the platform fee.
