What is Agent Runtime?
What does 'Agent Runtime' mean?
An agent runtime is the process that actually executes an agent: it holds the loop that calls a model, reads the response, runs whatever action the model asked for, feeds the result back, and decides whether the work is finished. It is the part a buyer most often underestimates, because it decides where the agent runs, who scales it, what happens when a step throws, and whether a run can be inspected after the fact.
