What is Agno?
Agno is a Python framework for building agents, teams of agents and multi-step workflows against models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others. An agent is defined in code with its instructions, the functions it may call and the data it may read. The AgentOS runtime then serves those agents over REST, over the Model Context Protocol so ChatGPT and Claude can reach them, and over chat in Slack and Discord, keeping sessions, memory, knowledge and traces in a single database. AgentOS runs inside your own cloud account rather than Agno’s, so agent runs and the data they touch stay in your infrastructure. A control plane gives one view across everything deployed.
