Short answer: Splashtop Remote Access costs $72 a year for Solo (2 computers), $99 per user a year for Pro and $149 per user a year for Performance (10 computers per license on both). All prices below are vendor-published, checked September 2026 on splashtop.com/pricing, which states that all $ prices are in USD. Taxes are extra.

Spotsaas keeps separate listings for the two product lines: Splashtop Business Access pricing (the former name of Remote Access) and Splashtop Remote Support pricing.
How much does Splashtop cost per year?
A single user pays $72 a year on Solo. A five-person team on Pro pays $495 a year, or $745 on Performance. A help desk with three technicians working at the same time pays $777 a year on the $259 SOS tier or $1,197 on the $399 tier. Enterprise pricing is only available by quote.
These are straight multiplications of the list prices, before volume discounts, which Splashtop advertises on Pro and Performance, and before tax:
- Freelancer with an office PC and a home PC: Solo, $72 a year.
- Five-person agency, each reaching up to 10 office machines: 5 Pro licenses, $495 a year.
- Five-person design studio that needs color-accurate streaming and Wacom support: 5 Performance licenses, $745 a year.
- IT team of six, with three technicians usually live at once: 3 SOS concurrent licenses, $777 or $1,197 a year, depending on the tier.
The last case shows why Splashtop’s remote support licensing is cheap for rotating help desks: you pay for technicians connected at the same time, not for every person on the team.
What is the difference between Solo, Pro and Performance?
Solo covers one user and two computers with unattended access, file transfer and remote print. Pro adds multi-monitor support, user roles, chat, session recording, 10 computers per license and up to three users into one computer. Performance adds 4:4:4 color, up to 240 fps, high-fidelity audio, remote stylus, Wacom Bridge and USB passthrough.
Splashtop sells Remote Access per named user, so every person who connects needs a license. The practical dividing lines:
- Solo suits a single person. It can reach up to 2 computers, which covers the classic work PC plus home PC setup and nothing more.
- Pro is the default business plan. Session recording and user role management make it the first tier an IT admin can reasonably audit, and multi-to-multi monitor support matters for finance and operations staff with two screens.
- Performance is only worth the extra $50 per user a year if the work is visual: video editing, 3D, CAD or anything that needs accurate color and a pen tablet on the remote machine.
From one computer you can open up to 2 remote computers at once on Solo, or up to 10 per license on Pro and Performance, according to Splashtop’s FAQ. From an iOS device you reach one computer at a time.
How does Splashtop Remote Support (SOS) pricing work?
Remote Support SOS is licensed per concurrent technician. Each license lets up to 10 users sit on the account, with one of them connected at a time. Technicians can reach unlimited attended devices through a session code, and each license covers either 10 or 300 managed (unattended) computers, up to 1,200 across four or more licenses.
Splashtop lists SOS at $259 or $399 per concurrent user a year and describes two device options: 10 managed computers per license or 300 managed computers per license. With the 300-computer option, one license covers 300 machines, two cover 600, three cover 900, and four or more cap at 1,200. The pricing page doesn’t state which price pairs with which device option, so confirm it in the checkout or trial before you budget.
What SOS includes:
- Attended support: the end user runs the SOS app and reads out a 9-digit session code, so you can help anyone without pre-installing an agent.
- Unattended support: install the Splashtop streamer on Windows, Mac and Linux computers you manage and connect at any time.
- Mobile devices: attended access to computers and mobile devices on demand.
- Add-ons: Autonomous Endpoint Management for patching, monitoring and remediation can be added to SOS.
Splashtop states that Remote Access supports up to 10 endpoints per license while Remote Support supports up to 300. If your IT team is buying for internal staff, SOS is usually the better fit than Pro seats for each technician.
What does Splashtop Enterprise add?
Enterprise is quote-based and covers both remote access and remote support. It adds SSO integration, granular and scheduled access controls, SIEM logging, unattended Android and IoT access, APIs, IP allow-listing, cloud session recording, service desk tools and an on-premises deployment option, and it goes beyond 1,200 managed devices.
Most organizations move to Enterprise for one of three reasons: they need SSO to satisfy an identity policy, they need session logs in a SIEM for an audit, or they have outgrown the 1,200-device ceiling on SOS. If none of those apply, SOS or Pro covers the day-to-day work.
Is Splashtop still free?
Splashtop’s business products are paid, and the pricing page lists no free business plan. You can run a fully functional free trial with no credit card required, and the trial covers Remote Access, Remote Support and Autonomous Endpoint Management.
If you need a free tool for occasional help, Chrome Remote Desktop and the open-source RustDesk are the usual answers. Our remote access software category lists free and paid options side by side.
Does Splashtop offer monthly billing?
No. Splashtop says its business subscriptions are all billed yearly so it can offer lower prices. The monthly figures on the pricing page ($6, $8.25, $13 and $22) are the annual price divided by 12.
That matters for seasonal teams. If you only need remote access for a three-month project, you still pay for the year. Competitors such as ConnectWise ScreenConnect sell monthly remote support plans at a higher monthly rate, and Zoho Assist offers both monthly and yearly billing.
What add-ons does Splashtop sell?
- Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM): automated patching, software updates and real-time device health monitoring. Available as an add-on to SOS and Enterprise Remote Support.
- Splashtop Antivirus powered by Bitdefender: deploy antivirus and manage policies inside Splashtop.
- Bitdefender GravityZone EDR: endpoint detection and response, quote only.
- Foxpass Wi-Fi Security and Secure Workspace (secure third-party access with just-in-time access and session recording): quote or trial.
- Education: Classroom Cloud and Mirroring360 Pro at $29.99 per teacher a year.
How does Splashtop pricing compare with TeamViewer and AnyDesk?
For one person, Splashtop Solo at $72 a year undercuts TeamViewer Remote Access ($24.90 a month, billed yearly) and AnyDesk Solo ($37.90 a month, billed yearly). For help desks, Splashtop SOS at $259 to $399 per concurrent technician a year sits below ScreenConnect Standard ($45 a month, billed annually) and above Zoho Assist Standard ($10 per technician a month, billed annually).
| Use case | Splashtop | Competitor list price (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| One user, unattended access | Solo: $72 a year, 2 computers | TeamViewer Remote Access: $24.90 a month billed yearly, 3 managed devices. AnyDesk Solo: $37.90 a month billed annually, 100 managed devices. |
| Help desk, per concurrent technician | SOS: $259 or $399 a year | ScreenConnect Standard: $45 a month billed annually ($59 monthly). Zoho Assist Standard: $10 per technician a month billed annually ($12 monthly). |
| Enterprise with SSO | Quote | AnyDesk Ultimate, TeamViewer Tensor and BeyondTrust are all quote-based. |
Competitor prices are vendor-published list prices checked September 2026. Device counts differ a lot between vendors, so compare the number of machines you need to reach unattended, not only the headline price. Is Splashtop safe?
Splashtop states it is ISO/IEC 27001 certified and publishes a vulnerability disclosure page. Pro and above add session recording and user role management, and Enterprise adds SSO, IP allow-listing, scheduled access, SIEM logging and cloud session recording for audits.
As with any remote access tool, most real-world risk comes from how it is configured. Limit unattended access to named technicians, remove departed staff promptly, record sessions where your policy requires it, and teach employees never to read out a session code to an unsolicited caller.
How to choose a Splashtop plan
- Are you reaching your own computers or supporting other people? Your own computers: Remote Access. Other people’s devices: Remote Support.
- How many computers per person? Two or fewer: Solo. Up to 10: Pro. Graphics-heavy work: Performance.
- How many technicians connect at the same time? Buy that many SOS licenses, not one per team member.
- Do you need SSO, SIEM logging, on-premises hosting or more than 1,200 devices? Ask for an Enterprise quote.
- Run the free trial on your slowest network and your oldest machines before paying for a year.

Frequently asked questions
How much is Splashtop per month?
The equivalent monthly price is $6 for Solo, $8.25 per user for Pro, $13 per user for Performance and from $22 per concurrent technician for Remote Support SOS. You pay those amounts as one annual charge: $72, $99, $149 and $259 or $399.
Is Splashtop better than TeamViewer?
On price, usually yes. Splashtop Solo costs $72 a year while TeamViewer Remote Access lists at $24.90 a month billed yearly. TeamViewer offers phone support in 33 languages, several sessions per channel and a larger add-on catalog, so helpdesks with many parallel sessions may still prefer it.
Which is better, Splashtop or AnyDesk?
- Pick Splashtop for the lowest per-user cost and for color-accurate streaming on Performance.
- Pick AnyDesk if you want many unattended devices per plan (500 on Standard) or an on-premises deployment on Ultimate.
What is a concurrent user license?
It is how Splashtop licenses Remote Support. Each license allows up to 10 users on the account, and one of them can run sessions from one device at a time. Two licenses mean two technicians can work at the same moment.
Is there a free alternative to Splashtop?
Yes. Chrome Remote Desktop is free from Google, and RustDesk has a free open-source server you can host yourself. Both lack the admin controls, reporting and support that come with a paid Splashtop plan.
Can I cancel Splashtop monthly?
No. Business subscriptions are billed yearly, so plan for a 12-month commitment. Use the free trial, which needs no credit card, to test before you buy.
How many computers can one Splashtop license reach?
Solo reaches 2 computers. Pro and Performance reach 10 per license. Remote Support SOS covers 10 or 300 managed computers per license, up to 1,200, plus unlimited attended devices through session codes.
