Easy to use and powerful

What do you like best? I was able to build simple integrations very quickly. Their english like descriptions makes it easy to understand what the recipe does. For more complex business logic, I found recipes to be expressive enough to describe them. I specifically liked Workato trigger's ability to pick up older events, and not miss events even when a recipe is stopped for changes/fixes. Basically you can stop a recipe, make changes to it, and when you restart Workato will process all ...

A true powerhouse tool to complement our Marketo environment

What do you like best? I can use Workato to retrieve data from, and write back to , objects that are not available through the native Marketo-Salesforce sync. This eliminates the need to stage data on the Contact record to make it consumable by Marketo, and reduces reliance on IT support. Also the tool is very handy for some data normalization activities, and handling API connections to other software tools. What do you dislike? I'm a big fan, so there isn't much to complain about. My one ...

Easy to use and powerful

What do you like best? The fact it can talk to Salesforce without having to buy the extra expensive Salesforce API. This was a huge benefit, because adding the API to a Salesforce license can provide extremely costly if you have a LOT of users. What do you dislike? Documentation isn't the best. This made it difficult to work out some issues I had with recipes myself. Support were a little bit slow at replying, but we got there in the end. Recommendations to others considering the product ...

Great for organizations!

What do you like best? I like the flexibility of the platform - without necessarily being a developer. I'm a pretty serious data person - but not a developer or coder. This system provides me with a way to connect disparate systems, make transformations and automate processes that otherwise would be ugly and/or manual. What do you dislike? The costs. Your pricing model changed - and it makes sense for larger organizations with big infrastructure headaches, but for my large number of small ...

Good integration with Salesforce

What do you like best? We liked that we had control over how we wanted to integrate Eventbrite and Salesforce. We could customize it to our liking without being forced into a prearranged configuration. What do you dislike? Even though it does have a lot of customization, there are some little features that are missing. For instance, you can't choose to update just ANY field in Salesforce, there are pre-picked ones that you must choose from. What business problems are you solving with the ...

Zapier on steroids

What do you like best? Workato is a perfect blend between a simple out of the box connection with Zapier and a hiring a developer to create a custom integration. It can create complex integrations without the expense of a custom developer. What do you dislike? I have not found anything to really dislike about Workato. Recommendations to others considering the product Don't be shy to reach out to them for support or to help create complex recipies. What business problems are you ...

Steep learning curve but customer success team and free expert hours make it happen.

What do you like best? The customer success team is very quick to respond and willing to walk you through anything via chat. If chat is not enough then they invite you on to the daily 1-hour screen share session known as the expert hour. Screens are shared and they walk you through setting up or troubleshooting the needed recipes or they can drive for you while explaining the process. What do you dislike? Not a good idea to rely on the templates too much. Every business is different and ...

Excellent tool for helping automate our business

What do you like best? The connection of Xero and Infusionsoft What do you dislike? I hired a consultant to help setup more advanced recipes Recommendations to others considering the product I feel the product is worthwhile if you need applications to send data to each other, I'd hire an expert to implement more advanced features beyond standard recipes What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? parsing data between multiple applications
