Use on a daily basis to run tests for clients.

What do you like best? I like the ease of tagging pages, the URL targeting parameter features and the ability to use custom JS to set up tests. What do you dislike? The user targeting features are not intuitive and often take a lot of extra work to ensure that the proper targeting is actually being implemented. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure to fully vet out the targeting features to ensure that you can truly target tests to the visitors that you really want. ...

Amazing product with awesome people behind it

What do you like best? The possibility to test way more that it seems when reading a review or the product specs. Asking customer service you get a better picture about VWO possibilities, I think it's essential to read their blog and attend their webinars, they provide with really good information. And when you don't know how to or if possible the best is to ask them, raise a ticket or get direct help over a skype call. What do you dislike? Sometimes is not so straight forward and it ...

Does the job well

What do you like best? A simple test can be set up and started easily in just a few minutes depending on the amount of changes to the website. The results are displayed really clearly in charts on the dashboard which is very convenient. What do you dislike? Sometimes making larger changes or changes that affect dynamic content can break the website, which can usually only be fixed by starting from the beginning again. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits ...

A/B testing made simple

What do you like best? The ease of use, the in built heat maps for each of your variants, the advanced targeting features, mobile testing and the ideas bank make it a testing tool that can do the job of 2-3 different software packages. What do you dislike? The interface can feel a little clunky at first but efforts have been made to improve this. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Lack of conversions is a critical thing to solve. ...

I use VWO for several of my clients

What do you like best? I have used Visual Website Optimizer for several of my clients for several years. What I like best is the ease of use and interface / dashboard. Although I think the previous version was a bit more user friendly. The main benefit of VWO is in their level of support, they are super responsive and follow up on every little email question back and forth and don't close the ticket until they confirm with you that it has been resolved. What do you dislike? There are a ...

Visual Website Optimizer helps me and my clients make more money

What do you like best? Simple and intuitive to use. It requires very little technical skill to get it up and running and no technical skill to create tests. I like the fact that everything I need is in one package - heatmaps, a/b test, multivariate test etc. I like the fact that they help you make better use of the product by providing tools such as the idea factory and the Landing Page Analyzer. The online help has also helped clarify my understanding of the test results. As a bonus ...

Great A/B testing tool - perfect for people new to testing and optimization

What do you like best? The newly redesigned interface - makes it really simple and easy to setup different kinds of A/B tests - their wizard setup style certainly helps this. It's good they also give some built-in functionality to help with test ideas from your visitors - like click map and visitor feedback functionality. I particularly like their idea factory too - coming up with good testing ideas (rather than just listening to your boss, or just guessing is essential for tests with ...

Difficult to Navigate - slick design but test set-up is a pain

What do you like best? VWO made some recent changes to their product that are improvements - a changes timeline and multiple URL's for test page patterns. What do you dislike? Setting up tests is very cumbersome. VWO hides set-up tasks in layer upon layer of clicks. Getting to the screen to enter variation code can take up to 4 clicks, for example. VWO relaunched their site and what was "buried" before is even more hidden now - just hidden behind a better looking interface. ...

VWO- An excellent, lightweight CRO platform

What do you like best? VWO helped jumpstart CRO inititatives at my extremely resource-strapped company. VWO provided heavy duty features in an intuitive and simple environment. Test set up was extremely simple, and VWO provided a lot of opportunities to test ideas. There were two key differentiating factors for me: 1 geo contextual testing (I could have a user's city auto populate in the headline and 2 exceptional support (VWO was always a skype call away when I needed help. What do you ...

Would recommend!

What do you like best? That the tool is easy enough to use for people who do not know how to code and the reports are easy enough to setup without having a lot of experience in reporting. On the other hand, it's also very extensible and robust for those who need and want more out of an A/B split testing tool. The customer support was always ready and able to work through any issues I had. What do you dislike? One of the main things I disliked was that the test variations ran on top of ...
