Spotsaas Editor’s POV

TeamViewer's free tier is genuinely useful for occasional personal remote access—screen sharing, file transfer, and unattended access all work without payment limits. The interface is straightforward: connect, authenticate, control. For business use, the paid plans ($49–$99/month depending on features) add session recording, multi-monitor support, and priority ...Read more

Horrible Experience. Good product, Bad Company.

Despite being a loyal customer for years - I was treated like garbage when we wanted/needed to cancel our subscription. Their 'fine print' states you must cancel 28 days before your auto-renewal. There is no notification that your renewal is coming up (outside of 28 days). I notified them of our intent to cancel within 2 hours of the payment for another YEAR of service ($x,xxx) and was stonewalled stating that I agreed to another year and needed to cancel 29 days ago. They wouldn't even ...

Beware of this company

Beware of this company. I paid my annual subscription via their own website on the 10th July 20, since them I have been receiving emails from them wanting payment? I have emailed their so called support team and they have confirmed they have proof of my payment and they would sort it with their accounts team. Today 14th August 20 I received a final demand saying if I don't pay they will terminate my licence. I am exasperated and angry with no where to go.

Poorly explained

Poorly explained. Over complicated setup. Try to direct you to web site for support - totally useless. Long wait to have phone call answered. On seeing the other reviews I will give notice well in advance not to renew. In summary, good but expensive tool, support abysmal.

Terrible customer suport and completely unethical renewal policy.

Like many other reviewers, I am appalled at TeamViewer's completely unethical renewal policy and although I think their software is technically fine, I will never be using or recommending them to my clients again. I'm an independent IT freelancer and I purchased a commercial TeamViewer license last year for use on a time-limited project with no intention of renewing for another year. The next communication I received from TeamViewer was an invoice for renewal on the anniversary of ...
