TeamViewer's free tier is genuinely useful for occasional personal remote access—screen sharing, file transfer, and unattended access all work without payment limits. The interface is straightforward: connect, authenticate, control. For business use, the paid plans ($49–$99/month depending on features) add session recording, multi-monitor support, and priority ...Read more

Excellent screensharing software you can try for free

What do you like best? You can use this software for free so whoever you are tying to screen share with does not have to purchase the software before using it. Also beneficial if you dont use screen sharing software constantly at work just need to use it from time to time. What do you dislike? Sometimes after a while it does not allow free use between two computers that have been connecting to each other for prolonged periods of time. What problems are you solving with the ...

Fraudulent, corrupt company. DO NOT USE.

Their billing services is setup as an outright scam. Because I logged into my account to pay for the software - as I usually do on just about every other service I use - they considered it opening a second license, even if that license was for the SAME SINGLE-USER ACCOUNT.They furthermore deliberately make it difficult to cancel your "subscription", you need to fill in a ticket, after which they just might reply to your email within 5 weeks. All of these 'errors' are setup to benefit in the ...

Even one star is too much

Even one star is too much. We've cancelled our subscription a long time ago since we didn't use it anymore but still receiving reminders from invoices (and since today a letter from their collection agency) that we haven't paid the invoice yet. We tried numerous ways to get in touch with teamviewer (opening a topic on their own forum, tried to contact them using their own customer support page) but still no reply about our cancellation. Please skip this company, it only gets you misery and ...

Personal use- Blocked me from using, forced to pay or discontinue

Attempted to use this to support my autistic teen with virtual learning. That is until Teamviewer tried to force me to pay for it, claiming I was a business. Tried going through the channels to get it resolved, no one would assist. Ended up using chrome remote desktop, not ideal, very choppy so he cant learn follow and learn to do the task independently but its free and wont require a mom who is no longer employed due to having to teach her child at home to pay to use. Spoke to a person ...

Stay away from the TeamViewer scam!

Stay away from TeamViewer! They run the nastiest subscription scam I've encountered in my professional life. After subscribing, there is no cancellation option, not in the software, not on their site. Next year, they will automatically charge you DOUBLE the amount you paid for the first year. Now, if you want to cancel your subscription at that point, the only option is to find their support forum that has a well hidden option to submit a support request - topic: cancellation. Long story ...

better options available, for FREE

I've been using FREE remote operations solutions for years now. I used to swear by Teamviewer, because it offered convenience and capability. But then I started getting kicked off because, allegedly, I was doing business-like stuff. I wasn't. I appealed, and mostly they never responded. I gave it up. I then moved to Chrome Remote Desktop, which seemed to work just as well. But then I tried AnyDesk. The advantage of Chrome Remote Desktop is that Chrome doesn't need to be active on the remote ...

What do you like best? Can securely remote into a colleague's system in a matter of less than a minute What do you dislike? There is nothing I have discovered about TeamViewer that I dislike yet What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? it is allowing us to solve system issues from our own desktops without the need to physically be there
