Excellent product. Easy to use and greatly helped us to debug our systems

What do you like best? Sumologic is easy to use. We can create multiple log categories for each of our services. It integrates with AWS cloudwatch well. After sumologic groups our service logs into several meaningful categories, we can easily monitor and debug our system health and performance. What do you dislike? It would be more helpful if your website can provide more intuitive videos to explain how to create queries. Recommendations to others considering the product: Great ...

Simply amazing

What do you like best? The ability to correlate searches across different log types as well as filtering down to the information I need is invaluable. What do you dislike? There's not too much to dislike to be honest. Recommendations to others considering the product: DIve in with both feet. You won't regret it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The business problem is the correlation mainly. Sumo gives that ability in aces.

Sumologic for your trouble shooting

What do you like best? I am using sumologic since 2016. It has very user friendly log search. There is a live tail feature which is very good. I think see http collector for my API s. The search are very fast. It provides wide array if parse querying with aggregation. I also use the dashboard feature. What do you dislike? The alert email triggers sometimes don't work. The http collector endpoint url generated does not use authorization headers. It could be misused for spamming the ...

The easiest option for monitoring our application

What do you like best? I do not need to worry about capacity and performance. We analyze data in bursts and we don't need to scale Sumo for the occasions. I also use metrics to analyze performance during the burst period. What do you dislike? UI has been improved quite a bit over the last two years. If any investment area that I could influence, I would like to have more attractive and interactive dashboards. Recommendations to others considering the product: As a technology ...

Powerful Tool

What do you like best? This is one of the best tool for checking logs, generating reports and metrics. Very handy and provides lots of customizations to exact what we are looking out of the logs. Using other apps like pager duty for getting sms and call alerts is very useful for timely acting on the prod issues. What do you dislike? I am not sure if there any things that can be disliked about Sumologic. Bt yes, for tailing logs, it should show the history just like in log ...

What do you dislike? The Result should be more human understandable, and it should highlighted so for these who just know basics of Sumo Logic it will be easier for them to understand. Log Analysis should be more easier. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Fast and pretty intuitive

What do you like best? It is faster than Splunk. I like the shared dashboards feature. What do you dislike? Some of the default settings are a bit annoying and not immediately obvious how to change (e.g. log out after 15 minutes) What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Once I knew where to find the dashboards I needed, I was able to troubleshoot webhook delivery issues, REST API request, etc.

Excelent analytics for logs and dashboards

What do you like best? I really like the simplicity to build dashboards and drill down on data with filters. What do you dislike? I would love the feature to view two or more graphs stacked on top of each other, as to easily compare related queries What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Improve performance based on log results

Time Saver

What do you like best? Multiple devs can have easy access to application logs and filter for transaction ids or filter by component. What do you dislike? I think while the past searchs are helpful, its a bit clunky Recommendations to others considering the product: Setup may take some time and extra work but lots of time will be saved later when debugging or dong analytics. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We mainly use it to ...
