Great for quick communication
What do you like best? I like that I can reach anyone on my team very quickly. It's like texting but easier and faster. I also like that it sits on my desktop in the background all the time. I love the channels to communicate with only the necessary people. What do you dislike? I don't like that the "enter" button sends the message instead of creating another line. They should have a send button that's not the enter button. I don't like that it is not too easy to search for specific ...

Great Potential
What do you like best? I really enjoy how Slack breaks down topics into channels, making organization easy. What do you dislike? The lack of good polling capabilities was a problem for me and my team. This may not be enough to discourage many, even most. But for my team it forced us to migrate to BAND. Recommendations to others considering the product: As long as you're not concerned about a good polling or event creation application, Slack should adequately fulfill your needs. ...

Slack is efficient
What do you like best? The use of Slack has helped me cut down on my email usage. It's easier to manage Slack, and it's easier to use Slack to communicate with members of my team that are not located in the same office as me. What do you dislike? There are some settings that I can't seem to find, such as the number of minutes it takes to display my status as inactive. Recommendations to others considering the product: Using Slack may require patience, but it will save you time in ...

Love using Slack keep on top of communication with my team
What do you like best? I like being able to create private channels. This is useful when a group of people are temporarily working a project together - i.e. team going to a tradeshow together. All trade show communication is all posted in there prior, during, and after the event. Then when everything is done, you can easily archive the channel. What do you dislike? I wish there was an automatic reply option. When I'm on vacation, not everyone knows what the 'palm tree emoji' next to my ...

Robust, easy to use, almost never bugs out
What do you like best? It's super reliable and the features all work well. As a software, it's pretty much the perfect product because it does everything it should. What do you dislike? Can't think of much. The search function does leave certain things to be desired. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Using it for inter-office communications.

Easy to use and super nice to look at!
What do you like best? The look of it is great, super pretty and adjustable to meet your needs. What do you dislike? That you can't search keywords between you and one person, or through all of your one on one convos. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Sharing google drive things easier, getting notifications for upcoming interviews with Lever.

Great for professional and personal use!
What do you like best? Eliminates the need for meetings and acts as a compendium for important resources = source of truth for your team. On top of that, there are a myriad of tools that it syncs with - Salesforce, Lean Data, which is extremely useful for our sales team. What do you dislike? Can be noisy - you have to be diligent about how you name your channels, so that your team understands how the channel is used. We us #cf for cross-functional, #sales-mgmt or #sales-team, #cx for ...

Team Communications Tool
What do you like best? Slack has a powerful integration with core development on operations tools such as Mailchimp, Github, JIRA, Bitbucket amongst very many others. This strong connection to other tools brings all developer activities to one central location. You can also share files with your team mates by simply performing a drag and drop operation and this file will be transferred over https. You can also get people's attention directly to ascertain that they get a message by ...

Slack Review
What do you like best? I like that I can send giphy's and emojis. It's also easy to share and send attachments. What do you dislike? Slack icon will indicate that I have an unread message on my iPhone, when I already saw and responded to the message on my desktop. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use this to communicate quickly with my coworkers.

With Slack Our Workplace Has Become Noiseless
What do you like best? The best part is our team can now communicate and discuss work-related and even on personal matters among colleagues being anywhere using a Slack communication tool. Apart from this, I like its feature that allows us to create custom channels for various work or fun related matters. What do you dislike? I noticed a few drawbacks using this app are; it's a desktop app, as it usually takes much time to respond, and also, the chat history gets deleted automatically ...
