Single integration that lets piping of data from anywhere
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Segment's single integration allows you to pipe your data pretty much anywhere you want. It keeps the codebase organized and uncluttered and lets developers focus on building features. They also have some cool features like self-hosted data warehouses that can be pretty powerful too. PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? I love Segment's infinite flexibility. Instead of going to your developer every time you want a new tool installed, new tools can easily be added as your needs scale. Its ability to measure events in analytics tools and being able to trigger marketing automation workflows from the same events is powerful. A great tool for integration with just about any crm/analytics tool in the market.
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Segment is an awesome tool whenever you're thinking of monitoring anything on your site via third party services. Set up is really easy. It's reliable and robust. Its UI is easy to look at and the debugger makes things a lot simpler to see if things are functioning well in your side. PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Aside from integrating almost every tool out there, the API, on its own, shows the best in tracking practices. Server and client side tracking tools presence guarantees that collected data is done to the nearest source. Reliability has been really good. Customer support is the best and bugs are minimal. So much easier to get things done now that I don't have to annoy the developers
What do you like best? Incredibly easy to set up sources and destinations, and then funnel them appropriately. No coding required on my end, minimal coding required on the developer's ends. The documentation is amazing and well thought-out. Huge, huge time saver in deploying almost any kind of analytics. What do you dislike? Great service but horrible pricing for apps with anonymous users.
What do you like best? Easy to set-up both for server-side event tracking, and client-side. Connects in seconds to various 3rd party tools for analytics, marketing, tracking, support, and more. It's made it super easy for us to test new services by turning integrations on and off without any additional needed development. What do you dislike? Features continue to improve and add value to an already outstanding product
What do you like best? Easy integration with dozens (hundreds? of services and they continue to add valuable features to improve the core product without making it bloated. It's clear they listen to their customers and pay attention to their own metrics.
