ProtonMail works like a charm but has to be more affordable

I care about privacy so I found ProtonMail to be one of the few real solution when it comes to online communication. I've been using it for more than 2 years now, 1.5 year the free version and then I started to pay to have the personalised email address and aliases. In general I am satisfied however I would have been as happy with a lower price. Proton Brigde maybe still needs improvement, but the mobile app (android) works like a charm. And the fact that there were multiple (failed) ...

Good for free email

Good for free email. Nice features. But now they are asking for phone numbers now to "verify" new accounts, which is a scam. Do not give them your phone number. It's disgusting they ask for it. A donation is reasonable. A secondary email would be annoying, but reasonable. But a phone number? Outrageous.

"Incredible email with a fantastic name"

What do you like best about Protonmail? Using Protonmail is very pleasant because it has a simple interface that does not overload the view as it happens with other email clients. In addition, Proton is a very professional email that has a good domain name which has made its popularity grow enormously. Using protonmail for more than two years and in all its versions (free and monthly payment), in my opinion is a great alternative that is even worth paying for it, especially its version ...

"Best private email at the moment"

What do you like best about Protonmail? In our company we use protonmail as personal and business mail along with the domains of our web, we use it mainly to communicate with each other for work reasons leaving the business domain for our clients. Protonmail has several plans, three of monthly fee and one free, the latter offers the most basic features such as sending and receiving emails. The professional (and the one we currently use) costs 4 euros per month and allows the creation of ...

Completely unacceptable scam

Completely unacceptable scam. Created a free account and once I started using it I receive a notice that the sending limit has been reached.......after sending only 26 emails. Are you joking? They clearly advertise the sending limit for the free account is 150 emails per day. On their support forum a lot of customers are complaining about the same. Their support staff answers are ALL very vague and clearly nonsense. A sending limit of only 26 emails per day is completely useless for any ...

Great email service... until they lock you out of your account

I've been a paying user of ProtonMail for a little over a year now, and it's worked great for my business. However, my account was recently locked, and I have to way to sign-in. The only notice I received was that I was "fraud", and be locked out of my account. There's almost no way to appeal that decision, and if you manage to contact them, you're lucky if get a response from them. Proton mail has waited days between emailing me back, and hasn't even begun to explain how to get the issue ...

At first very good but not now

At first very good but has become very slow and I can't log on this morning! Unable to make contact. Sadly, I've just informed all my customers of my new email address and many will be trying to email me this morning. Not happy

ProtonMail offers no support and their bridge keeps crashing

We've ordered ProtonMail "Visionary" for our company, paid a year in advance (288 Euro) and our IT guy spent the whole day trying to migrate our mails from our old email provider to ProtonMail. That does not work, the bridge of ProtonMail (a special piece of software needed to communicate between Outlook and Protonmail) crashes all the time. ProtonMail support is unreachable, there is no phone number, no live chat and our support requests sent via email and their website remain without ...
