Like others have suggested, they will disable your account without warning. Customer service is absolutely useless. DO NOT USE THIS EMAIL PROVIDER IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT.

Our email account was blocked because protonmail said some of the emails we sent to our contacts were "spammy" (what a stupid term). They are either spam or they are not. In our case they were not. We thought it would be easy to unblock just by contacting protonmail. 36 hours later and the account is still blocked and they have not replied to two urgent complaints. I have had proton mail now for about a year and will be cancelling it. Protonmail for the most part is a scam. They bombard you with advertisements and then when you purchase the yearly "ad free" service, they send ads to you for "deals" Black friday nonsense about getting the service you are already paying for, for less. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
