Terrible service

Used free account for about 1 month. Then account was disabled without any reasons; some colleagues have the same problem. Customer support doesn't help at all. Be careful!

I had a user/password issue on a newer computer and the support team at Protonmail was very prompt and knowledgeable. They helped me resolve the issue right away. I would highly recommend Protonmail to anyone seeking secure, easy to use email.

Problem with login with 2FA

I had a problem with login with 2FA, which has to be removed. After answering critical questions to ensure that I was the owner of this e-mailadress, they removed the 2FA and I have again access to my account. Protonmail did a great job helping me in a rapid and clear way. Thanks 🙏

I had a problem logging in which is a rarity

I had a problem logging in which is a rarity with Protonmail. I decided to report it since it is such a rarity to have any issues. I rec'd a prompt email from Protonmail and the issue was resoloved. Thank you for your prompt assistance and attention.

Unfortunately

Unfortunately, my message to them about being hacked, not being able to use my passwords to get into both email addresses, and having a security breach doesn’t concern them in the least. It’s been a couple of days since I left the message. Now I don’t even know how to close the accounts.

It's a nightmare to set DNS for the custom domain

I receive from 5 days their automatic message about "DNS issues detected for the custom domain". They have launched a new way to manage your DKIM keys using CNAME records instead of TXT records. I follow immediately their procedure indicated in the support page, but nothing is changed. I tried for 3/4 times but nothing. I send to them an email July 31th but until today nobody reply me. Charged $137.08 without ever agreeing to any services...

This company started out as a highly recommended email service, however I was just charged $137.08 for a service and charge I never agreed to. The company does not have a valid phone number and has not replied back via their customer support email. I was never notified that a charge would be occurring, nor does the email confirmation state any details as to what this charge was for.
