CERN and MIT don't teach customer service

I'm not impressed with Proton's offering of either secure mail or VPN – mainly because customer service is extremely slow to respond when issues arise. Notably, there is no live customer support which is difficult to justify as Proton sell their services as premium with a price tag to match. There is also no way of removing a payment method from a paid account. This means that any active plan will always auto-renew at the end of its billing cycle. My favorite mail server

My favorite mail server, because it's the only one I trust to keep my privacy. Has very cool features like build in PGP and more.I just think they are a bit expensive and are a bit greedy for aliases. I am not allowed to create unlimited aliases on my own domain, and need to pay to create more, which i dont really understand.Overall a great service, very reliable, has advanced security and privacy features. By far this is the best secure email and VPN service I have ever used. I find it to be fast and unlike others I have no problem with support issues and to be very helpful. I started out with the free service but went for the annual plan. I feel that I made a wise choice and I will recommend these services to others. If you are shopping around and looking to for a new service I recommend that you at least give this a try.

Poorest of customer service

I have been with ProtonMail for almost a year, and I was thrilled to have access to a private, NONADVERTISING email service. But the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BAD. Several times the mail stopped working on Mac, and It would take days to get a response, and when I did it seemed they had not read what I wrote. I see they use Zendesk, but they need someone working to serve global people. Now I have been waiting four days with information to open a new account, and it is just a continuous loop of ...
