I paid and had my credit card charged $479 USD for their "Visionary" plan (I paid for a 2 year plan). But I didn't get anything in return for it! Still have a free account. I immediately created 2 separate support tickets through their online system - one for reporting a bug since their credit card processor and their system have a serious communications issue, and the other I created through Proton's "customer support" Zendesk system. I still haven't heard anything from them after 20 ...

Impossible recovery

Lost access as my saved password magically changed overnight after using for a few months. Recovery was impossible because I couldn't remember the exact date I created the account despite knowing everything else including things only the account holder would know. Useless and their reply to this review says it all

Zero knowledge ... my A$$

ProtonMail asked me to give them my second email (so I can be tracked through it, right?! Also, they've asked for my phone number!!! Wow, very anonymous and zero-knowledge, and final - I've decided to check their premium plans - bum - I have to enter my personal credit card information such as name, address etc... How exactly this is zero-knowledge?!

WASTE OF TIME. Free version is a child's account, it's like using a child's desk with limited storage and if you have a question, their customer service is unintelligent and unintelligible, like bad cell phone in Philippines. Also DO NOT USE YOUR CREDIT CARD with them. I upgraded my account for one month because storage was full and I had to get rid of stuff. I went to cancel after one month and found no options. One more point before they delete my account, when was done request to me move stuff I wrote to them on Twitter, actually I can not, because ProtonMail which has account on Twitter did blocked me so even Andy Yen is giving me this request, I can not do it as I am blocked by ProtonMail on Twitter and all what I wrote them there is not available for me to remove it.Same also on Facebook.

Account blocked for fraud and abuse, support doesn't help

My accounts got blocked for fraud and abuse for no reason, no warning, with my other sites accounts bound to them. The support won't help me restore them or at least transfer my other sites account to other emails. As a result, I lost ownership of my other sites accounts aswell. Complete disregard from the support, I'm very disappointed.

Total scammers and not helping after you…

Total scammers and not helping after you pay them. I am requesting now money back and want after terminate Lifetime account.No help even I have been announcing more than 1 year an issue. No help from Bart Butler, ignoring my writting on Twitter and announcements which is coming to my mail like 3 times Visionary plan,2 Times access to drive invites, now even offer Lifetime account though I ´ ve already have, please be so kind and return my money back which I paid you by my bank and we stop ...
