Circular, robotic "support" and REFUSAL TO DELETE MY DATA

Absolutely terrible. Refuses to delete an account I've already said that I won't be using, due to its utter lack of user-friendliness and absence of very basic features. Would you believe I've been in contact with "support," trying to understand how to delete emails, for SEVEN DAYS? They've only offered one single response to a ticket on any given day. Been a subscriber for year and began to ask about Black Friday deals 3 emails over 10 days, as I wanted to upgrade. No reply. Then a subscription fee was taken out without an invoice, so I filed an authorized deduction with paypal. Proton locked my account. It has been three days. Proton got the money I have written about 15-18 emails, never got a support number, have been on FB messenger where they said they woudl look into if I gave the the info. Paid Customer for about a year. I'm very happy with it overall. Price - I subscribe to proton VPN as well and the package is a good deal. Support – I've needed them a few times and every time they've been fast and extremely helpful. I did have some issues getting setup. I tried to migrate from an old mailbox and ran into a lot of grief. I think most of that was the old mailbox having issues, but the migration tools didn't help me find the cause.
