What do you like best about Protonmail? The only email service I haven't been hacked. Encryption and interface are unique What do you dislike about Protonmail? At this moment, nothing dislikes me in this product, I recommend it for essential things like bank accounts. What problems is Protonmail solving and how is that benefiting you? Thanks to this email platform, I feel very safe to do transactions online. Services like Binance are registred in an email of this platform.

"Security made simple"

What do you like best about Protonmail? I love how it gives you the option to encrypt an email to someone who isn't on Proton. The self-destruct option is also very cool. I also love the ability to unsubscribe from a mailing list without having to click anything in the email. But more than anything, the software doesn't get in the way of your usual workflows. We use it for both my companies (consultancy, NGO) and have been a paid user for over two years now- other e-mail providers did not have encryption, and provided less safety. ProtonMail Is fast and has a lot of cool features. I totally recommend it. I recently had a massive account problem, and it was fixed in just a few days.

My opinion

Anyone telling you ProtonMail is (expensive) is a liar as the free service works perfectly fine. I've been using this service for around a year now and I've never felt any need to upgrade to their premium based service. 500 MB is plenty for emails and as a matter of fact it's what a lot of ISPs give their customers for their email plans.

Great for everyday usage, but.....

For everyday usage, it has been brilliant. Fairly recently, I had to change my password because of a breach of a password manager, which went smoothly. I only found out today however, that everything saved previous to the change has been permanently encrypted, which means that I have lost a lot of important information that I had thought was safe on my Protonmail account, which isn't made apparent before making such changes - please amend this?
