I cannot log back into my account even…

I cannot log back into my account even though the username/password is correct. This is madness that I no longer want to participate in any more. Back to my other email services to regain my sanity. I'm so glad that I did not jump ship from them. Don't waste your time with proton unless you want a very bad headache. Oh yeah, their 'support' service is on a permanent coffee break as well...keep away. Giving this a one star is like five stars too many...minus 4 stars is more like it.

NO REFUNDS- borderline fraud so stupid when you cancel the subscription, you cancel all the remaining days and get (refunded) in account balance, that is USELESS unless you RENEW and PAY AGAIN!! I have been using Proton for a couple years now. I have always been happy with the free email and enough so that I decided I would go with a paid plan as it offered me a bit more than the free version. So far, other than a few minor issues that have been resolved quickly via support, things have run flawlessly. I use their free vpn from time to time and it seems to work well. Used the free version of protonmail for around a year. Recently, my "auto login" failed and my password no longer works although it is definitely correct. Contacted customer service via email and been going back and forth ever since - now in excess of 3 weeks with no access to my emails and it appears that there is no solution. Update 11th Dec 2021: because of this still unresolved nonsense (ref 887685) I have lost £414.00 (GBP) specifically brought about by not having access to this ...

They have a flawed abuse system

Beware of fake 5 star reviews. They lock you out of your accounts based on their flawed abuse system whether you are a free account or paid. DO NOT USE THEM! They will never reenable your accounts. They are also not really a good company to protect your private data. For one they lock/ban your account without a care to what you were using them for will refuse to reenable. Their customer support takes days for one response. Also they use encryptions to jump through loop holes in their ...
