Excellent service, not sure why there are so many 1 stars here

I don't often write reviews on here but noticed that ProtonMail had a very low score which doesn't reflect my experience at all. I've been using ProtonMail as a paid customer with a custom domain for about 18 months. It works great, I particularly like the bridge which enables you to use your favorite email client while maintaining the privacy offered by ProtonMail. Ignore the haters, it's great

Someone initiated a coordinated attack on Proton here. It's B.S. I've been on Proton 2 years. The web interface is fantastic and it works beautifully. I have used Bridge with Apple Mail, Postbox and Thunderbird and all have worked fine. It's the best, most mature of the Privacy focused email offerings out there. Proton is great ignore the brigrading

Used this service for 5 years now, upgraded to the paid plan 2 years ago with no regrets. Their rating distribution here is indicative of getting review bombed. Interestingly, most of these reviews are coming in after the proton.me announcement, somebody is probably scared of a legit competitor who is privacy oriented. Saw someone saying that they just created an account, bought Proton Unlimited then got banned. But how do we know for sure that they didn't violate the policy on another account? ProtonMail is full of fake people by today I know they are just fake. No Refunds

I purchased a year subscription thinking I could review it and if I didn't like it, cancel it. After trying it for 30 minutes, it did not fill my needs so I canceled it. They refuse to refund me and instead gave me credit. Don't trust a company that will not refund your subscription, especially after using it for 30 minutes.

It's okay

It's okay. My problem trying to add attachments to emails. Recipients c/o not being able to open them, or I can't theirs. Not simple process either of just going into documents, and adding attachments. And since they switched to proton.me, takes forever to load, and sign in

The best email service

Good service, no spam email, friendly support and fast refund ( I cancelled subscription plan and requested refund, customer service was cared about the rest).
