The free version is complete garbage

The free version is complete garbage. You cannot create more than two folders. Then they offer you to upgrade to the paid version. The design is inconvenient for normal work. Generally, the free version is made as a phishing tool to trick customers into the paid version.

Protonmail is BS

Protonmail is BS, I only just realised that it is infact their staff who are embroiled in this racist crap created by the Police where I deal with heavy set cyber crime for years. Their staff had no explaination as to why my email was being logged out of remotely for years at a frequency of 5 sec to 5 minutes repeatedly. Even logged into. They're service is crap. They can't check anything but instead tell you some sick, cryptic stuff to make up aware of just how corrupt they are. I finally ...

I had a plus paid account since 2016

had a plus account since 2016. I used proton vpn also. With my work I needed a safe email. Proton mail is unreliable and unprofessional they locked my account claiming abuse because I had more than one account. 7 days I email them and they respond automatedly claiming they will look into it. The vpn leaks as it was not opening sites when I was abroad. The email s subject line is not encrypted. I recommend you use another company. Their customer's service is horrible and their website is ...

Paying customer

Have been a paying customer for a long time now. I love their email, even though it is a bit pricey compared to alternatives. What I do expect for that price is stability. This has unfortunately not been the case, it has happened at least 8 times now (that I am aware of), where I could either not login or receive/send emails. Imagine being a place and needing access to an important email, well don't use Proton Mail for that. I have not tried their other products.

No longer worthy

A really shocking service since the move to Proton.me. There are always problems trying to login sometimes I am locked out for long periods. Support have tried to help but the problems persist; I will gradually move the emails away to a different provider as it's just not worth the hassle. The problem is Proton Mail.

Private, Secure and Making a Difference In Our Insane Time

I've been using Protonmail for about 4 years after I moved on from other larger, corporate services dependent on advertising and personalisation, so date of experience is actually closer to 2019. It's really good for many reasons. Trustpilot deleted my previous review, claiming I was working for the company. Yes, really.... Anyway, my thoughts below: End-to-end encrypted email service that features no advertising and personalisation, like larger, more popular alternatives. This means ...

E-Mails destroyed, THANKS Proton!!!!!!

This company made me lose about 20 to 50 emails that I had stored on their site. Then I started having sign in issues. I sent multiple service requests over a 5 to 15 day period. By the time they finally got back to me the problem was of such a confluence and magnitude of factors that their crappy help just made matters worse. If I had known this was going to happen I NEVER would have put my emails on their crappy system to begin with. Their system is too hard to figure out and is very ...

worst I have ever had

worst I have ever had. Very difficult to get out of their fangs again once you sign up. Borderline criminal what they do. Money back guarantee does not work, as they don't send the money back. Total joke this company. The protone email is blocked in half the world and their FPN has no working servers. All on "maintenance". Highly recommend to stay away from them as far as possible. Support tells me that I will only get a partial refund! Even though I cancelled within the two weeks (EU law) ...

terrible mail service.

I opened about 6-7 e-mail accounts for a computer game. I have always used the mail and VPN service of the proton company. In the plan in my head, 4 mails for my social media account and I was going to use 3 mail for Xbox razer and PlayStation. So what did this crappy mail service do? He blocked all of the accounts without my permission, without even giving me any information. I will complain about this process to the Ministry of Information Technologies and the Presidency communication ...
