Suspended me for no reason!

Been a loyal member for years. Randomly banned me for "multiple crimes and TOS violations". I never commit crimes. Nor violate their TOS. No warning. No explanation. Just total ban and loss of years of data, contacts, business, banks, and my whole life ruined. I already contacted you many times. You refuse to even let me download my info from my accounts!

Still waiting for customer service

Received a popup that my account was past due, went immediately to my account and updated my payment information and paid for a year, 10 minutes later my account was disabled. That was a week and four emails ago, no responses other than an AI assigned case numbers.

Works great with Linux (Fedora 36)

Works great with Linux (Fedora 36). I can easily access my e-mails with Geary via the bridge that are available from Protonmail site. I'm looking forward to cloud storage they are offering when it matures. Hopefully it will be 100% compatible with Linux.

Now proton.me Suspended my email account without any policy violation. Now I have lost all access to my account I use the email for. Don't use if you value your mail data.

poor customer service

Proton proved very difficult to work for me..So i cancelled my account 3 months ago. And they continue to charge my credit card...Haven't een able to find a way to communicate w their service dept if one truly exists...Now i will be forced to cancel that card ...and renew w all other Valid sites...a giant pain in my a..! Dont purchase this system! s _ _

I have never had any troubles with Proton mail despite Microsoft calling it a phishing site

So at a whim the company can decide to simply suspend your email account if you don't use it regularly. Then they require you to submit a ticket to regain access where you are forced to answer 10 odd questions about your email account history. Do yourself a favor and just use a different email provider that better respects your time.

The free version is complete garbage

The free version is complete garbage. You cannot create more than two folders. Then they offer you to upgrade to the paid version. The design is inconvenient for normal work. Generally, the free version is made as a phishing tool to trick customers into the paid version.
