Pretty good mail service

Pretty good mail service, been using it for years now, and never had a problem. A dedicated Family plan is missing in my eyes, apart from expensive special offers for the old Visionary plan. Thank you for your dedication.

ProtonMail promotion misleading

Ok protonmail promotions is not that clear. They state 7:99 euros monthly all over the place so you think that’s an option. When you go and pay theirs no option but there’s a misleading text on one of the option the full price 191.47 euros and underneath 7:99 euros Monthly. You would think that the option to press but they charge you the full amount. 191.47 euros instead of the monthly charge of 7;99 euros. So please tell me if this is not misleading. I've been using Proton Mail & their VPN…

I've been using Proton Mail & their VPN (not paid) for around 2 years or so. I've never had ANY issues regarding their platform. I'm very satisfied and will continue using them.

Great Product - Terrible Support

The actual app is great but the support is so hostile that I wonder if it is a purposeful policy to discourage customers from 'bothering' them. If I can find an app with similar privacy features and better support/more features, I'd switch in a heartbeat and pay 2x as much. The actual email interface is wonderful - clean, well designed and uncluttered compared to Google.

How to turn friends into SPAM: Subscribe to Proton

For the third time, ProtonMail is suddenly routing email from long-time, trusted contacts into SPAM. I contacted Proton after the first incident about a year ago. They researched message headers etc. but came up with nothing. Now this fall I've had Proton cause me to totally miss numerous messages from four long-time trusted contacts with no change in their email addresses. ProtonMail -- Great way to lose friends and annoy people!

Not "Private", and brutal customer service

Hello, I had a strange experience with protonmail. I opened 2 separate accounts to test it, and they blocked them for a "bulking" reason whatever. I contacted their support and they refused to unblock my accounts, even just one of them. The very strange thing about it is that they claim that they do not collect any of your personnal datas, but how did they know i opened 2 accounts ? When security and privacy matters...

I'm very satisfied with protonmail/VPN/Calendar/Storage. I've been using it daily since it was launched. Security & Privacy feels like something they prioritize highly. So in my opinion it's a service worth paying for. I love it !

Good but problematic in spots

Extremely difficult and irritating to get a refund

In December 1, 2022, subscribed for Proton VPN. But it did not have a feature I was looking for. Asked for a refund. What I got, was very difficult, annoying and irritating experience to get a refund. Customer Service is a joke

I pay for Protonmail annually, there was a problem with my payment so I paid direct. Despite taking my money they shut me out of my account for non-payment and I have no access to any of my email. Their customer service fail to respond to any of my questions except asking for a screenshot of the payment - supplied now 5 times and still nothing.
