My account got suddenly suspended

My account got suddenly suspended. Without any reason, no behind payments, no warning or whatsoever. I have been a loyal customer for over three years. I strongly recommend people NOT to use this email provider. They are incompetent, they don't even care. Their helpdesk is unreachable. It's a mess. Never again.

Amazing service

ProtonMail contains all the email client functions I need. The email client has a pleasant and convenient interface, as well as a professional support service. I was especialy delighted to find the delayed email sending feature added recently — the only function that was missing among those I need. Overall, ProtonMail has a great reputation for privacy. The company states that they will never share or sell your data to third parties, and for now we have no reason to doubt this. As any ...

Don't listen to 1 star reviews

Don't listen to 1 star reviews given by single review accounts. Most of them are bots user, mass registering to their free email service to scam people, then complaining about their account being locked. Proton is doing his job by blocking scammers out of the platform. Use Proton, their Ultimate offering is just insane. You get 500GB of cloud storage, one of the (if not the) fastest VPN around to protect your connection, and an email provider that is actually respecting your privacy ...

Protonmail locked my account--not just…

Protonmail locked my account--not just my email but my VPN as well! I paid for 2 years in advance and still have about 1 1/2 years left. I contacted them and they said "We have looked into the cause behind your suspension, and we can see from the report that seemingly unsolicited and spammy messages were sent from your account. Since such behavior goes against our terms and conditions, our anti-spam system has disabled your account."I checked and I had sent less than 1 email per day and ...

Useless

Useless. I have paid upfront for a longer period of time due to a deal and I am so sorry I did. What a mistake. The emails go to people's junk folders so I have to email from my Gmail to say that they should check junk. Utterly useless. The drive system - you can't share anything other than by a link which makes multiple people accessing documents useless. The calendars cant be shared...again useless. Also, the cancellation period is 30 days but I didn't understand most of these issues ...

They will 100% lock your entire inbox…

They will 100% lock your entire inbox if you miss an invoice but offer literally nothing compared to free services like GMAIL. Do not do the same mistake like me (using proton mail) because losing access to all of your registrations is very much a reality with proton. !Your Proton account is currently suspended. After 28 days, emails will no longer be delivered to your inbox, your Drive sharing links will be blocked, and you will not be able to upload new files. To resume normal service, ...

Protonmail asks me for a verification…

Protonmail asks me for a verification code every time I try to use it. The code is sent to another email address I have but it seldom shows up in the inbox. It is now unusable.

I opened a free account several years…

I opened a free account several years ago and because of good service I later upgraded it as well. For years I had no problems with Proton and my confidence in them remained very high. I only used my account to communicate with our bank and doctors’ offices. Proton seemed the best solution to deal with sensitive (financial and medical) information. I didn’t even use the Proton account with friends and co-workers. After talking with my wife, she also wanted an account. So, I paid for her ...

Love it

Love it. I feel secure! Most of the bad reviews are for non-paying customers but I have been a paying customer of the Proton products since 2018. I use ProtonVPN all the time as well.

Locked out

They locked me out of my email because of some card got a chargeback. For past 3 weeks I'm telling them that this is a mistake as I don't have, so never used the card they are telling me is mine. All i get is generic replies that say the same thing over and over- that I need to provide them with the proof of ownership of the card. They totally ingore what I am saying and there is noone to actually talk to. I don't even know if the replies are written by humans... This is a scam!
