Customer support non-existent
I have signed up for a paid pro service, but decided it wasn't meeting my needs after testing, then decided to cancel the subscription for a refund. I'm yet to receive my refund, contacted customer support twice but with no response whatsoever. My gut feeling was so right. I'm glad I've not migrated gigabytes of email data to Proton. Stealing your Money and No support
Yesterday I created a Protonmail account, then I upgraded it to Proton Unlimited. I received few emails from proton (Welcome, Payment Receive, Unlimited greetings). I AFK few minutes and when I came back to my proton account: "This account has been suspended due to a potential policy violation". I was locked out of both of my accounts…
I was locked out of both of my accounts today for "possible fraudulent activity", which is complete news to me. I have had my accounts for years but today, all of a sudden, I am locked out. I am in the middle of job interviews so this completely screws me. I have sent two tickets to the help desk. Given the comments here I imagine I'll hear from protonmail sometime in 2024. Non-existent customer support
I have been a paid customer with Protonmail for over 6 years, before many knew of its existence. I rarely ever ask for customer support, but god forbid if you need help. For a paid service, don't expect much customer support, it's so awful, it's almost non-existent. I have had an issue with them for several days now and I keep getting the same 'canned" respond from a support person, over and over again without actually resolving the problem.. I am happy ProtonMail but…
I am perfectly happy with ProtonMail. I don’t understand all those 1 star complaints. I’ve been using it for over 18 months. Absolutely no problems with billing, account etc. The ONLY complaint I have is that on my iPhone 10, and somewhat on my iMac and iPad, it takes FOREVER for my emails to load. I use the ProtonMail App. My AOL App works fine, it’s very fast. Normal. My 2 questions are: what do I do to fix this? how do I contact tech support?

Proton will hold your emails to ransom
***Update*** 14th June This is for you Protonmail: ticket 1 2223061 ticket 2 (that you created on my reply) 2236276, maybe for the refund?? I have realised that the two payments are actually one payment, just that paypal took funds from my account and cc. I cancelled the paypal dispute as protonmail requested in their email, they said I could have a refund if I wanted one. I requested a refund and to revert my email back to a free plan. Emails to my account and access to my inbox blocked by Proton Mail
I have been a paying customer of Proton Mail for years. For the past several months, Proton Mail has blocked my attempts to downgrade my account to the free plan. Each time I try I get an error message saying I am using too much storage to downgrade, even though I am only using 720 MB and the free plan comes with 1 GB.
