Literally the worst email provider in…

Literally the worst email provider in the world. I hope their business collapses as soon as possible. Got my email suspended for no reason. They provide no explanation nor evidence as to why only "suspended due to violations done against our Terms of Service". I just asked them for 1 day to recover access of certain accounts. I lost access to one Steam account with a nice collection of games and inventory because the Steam was linked to their email. Never use ProtonMail. Ticket/Request ...

I don’t trust them.

Editing after reading other reviews & make sure I’m not delusional. & I’m not. 1) iOS in app charges 30% dev tax. But Proton passes these fees to the customers. 2020 price was $48 annual sub as advertised by Proton but I was charged $59.99. I asked where in their TOS clearly states that a customer would be charged more if it’s an in-app purchase? I was given a “blog” instead. I’m fine paying $10 more but be transparent about it. Just say that customers are responsible for 30% more in app & ...

They suspend their accounts without…

To protect a small number of account information, the account is suspended without prior notice, and when asked to delete it, the answer is that there was no intention of using the account illegally, and no matter how much you explain the original purpose of the account, you cannot unbanned. I had a trashy experience when I linked Protonmail to the authentication email of the Hoyoverse game. I never use their mail again. I want to give you 0.1 stars, but it's too bad.

invasion of privacy by Protonmail employees.

two emails were delayed a day so I sent request asking if protonmail delays emails. I was contacted by someone who refused to answer that question but asked for info on the two emails. I gave that over and over to him. He finally admitted they do delay emails they feel are not important. He would not answer my questions on how much of my emails they read. After a while I realized these cs people were just harrassing me and I've asked they not contact me. Then others did. Still they send me ...

"Provides security for emails"

What do you like best about Protonmail? Proton mail gives better encryption to our emails than other email service providers. It has a feature to integrate inbox of Gmail by forwarding. It also provides free subscription plan to its users. Proton mail also provides good user interface. What do you dislike about Protonmail? Proton mail is only secure when the other recepient also uses proton mail platform. The payment options for paid subscription is very few only and difficult for user to ...

Avoid like the plague!

Avoid like the plague! If you own multiple free accounts they suspend all of your accounts, without letting you change accounts from 3rd party websites that are linked to it. Meaning you lose access to all your accounts that are linked to a proton email even the ones you got paid stuff running on. I used it mostly for my game accounts, which I no longer can manage emails from now. If it was something more valuable I would had definitely started a lawsuit. Also privacy is a joke here as ...

Protonmail customer service non-existent

I am a paying customer of protonmail. I've been locked out of my email for two days now, and my business is suffering. I send emails and get a reply back a day later. The support is close to non-existent. So frustrating. Why can't I at least get a timely reply?
