Once it used to be one of the best survey site. Now one of the worst. My account is fully verified but no survey at all.

Scam to harvest data, don’t waste your time!

Failed the verification process due to no information given, after sending selfies and a driving license picture

So I made an account this morning, after taking all the time to read though their about me questions, answering them and dodging the tricky ones trying to weed out people who aren't paying attention. After I completed 2/3 steps of the verification process I thought it was enough since it started searching for studies so I stopped. Then I got a study pop up from Cardiff that would pay me 7,5 British pounds. I tried to reserve a spot but I was told my account was not verified which is fair. ...

It's grate

It's grate, you have to install a extension to have the updates, or you can have it open on your browser while you do other things, I've ear like 12£ in my free time, you don't going to earn the money of the world, but extra cash it's great

I love Prolific and the studies I receive are interesting

I use Profilic since August 2019 and all of a sudden they banned me without explanations in 2021, but then I got back when I insisted a year after and I am being able to get aprox 50€ a month now from very interesting studies (I'm from Portugal). Their methods of cashout are great and fast too.

I received the same PEC-SUB-0002 error…

I received the same PEC-SUB-0002 error after more than two years of doing surveys. I did close to a thousand surveys for this place and they blocked my IP address. I'm not even expecting a reply this not generic I don't even want to reply. I just wanted to put my one star in to lower their rating even more because they have seriously messed up systems that need to be fixed . they really messed up my income as I have lost my job due to the covid. now I'm really screwed thanks a lot prolific

I made about $100 within a week

I made about $100 within a week. That's the good. I still have several surveys under review before they will pay. I got screwed on a couple, complained to customer service and never heard back. Oh, and after a week of doing surveys, never saw another one. Apparently they cut you off when they feel you have done too many and need to give others a chance. I asked customer service about the reason I haven't been getting surveys and no surprise, nobody responded. No slow down in surveys, just ...

Be warned before making an account…

Be warned before making an account here. They randomly ban their accounts due to some “automated check” and it happens to everyone eventually. They offer no explanation, point blank says they won’t, and then says the decision is final. I think this is a fake excuse and is made up. They scam people to get their info to give to third parties and then ban their accounts.

Rejected after ID identification - resolved

I have read good things about Prolific and was keen to join a 'trustworthy' site that supports research. I have shared A LOT of personal information, up to the point of personal Identity verification. Right after going through the personal Identification verification I got 'kicked out' with a rude message and no explanation. There is clearly a problem with the ID verification system, but this is not comforting. If I did not do some background check on this company I would have worried that ...

Spent absolutely ages putting in all my information, about me and sending photos of my PERSONAL identification to be told they wouldn’t give me an account and absolutely zero reason why. Took photos of my ID and sent it to them and immediately got told, screams scam to me. Now has my personal info and ID photographs.
