If I could give them a rating above 5 I would. Definitely one of the best sites to be a participant. Other sites are actually a joke. Prolific is going through a number of changes but I trust they will come out better on the other side. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I have been doing great made about 20.00 and then got blocked basically due to my VPN and proxy issue. Like how do they flag stuff like that? I have tried to get it fixed but nothing works. I'm aggravated. Idk what made the flag me just for doing surveys....

Prolific Is Now a Data Mining Company!

Prolific has been one of the worst survey hosting sites. They have not improved over the eighteen months I was with them. They allow researchers to lie and when you call them out, Prolific accuses you, then suspends you! I have now realised the real reason why they ban you. Still waiting for payment since Tuesday!

I only just just started with Prolific two weeks ago and I have not been impressed with their payment delays! I finally reached the threshold. They are supposed to run two payment runs; Tuesday and Friday. I am still waiting for my payment. It is still showing as pending on my account. They still have not processed my payment I cashed out last Tuesday. This does not give me any confidence that Prolific is legitimate site.

I read that summer months and especially August is the worst period for doing surveys and that things return to normal after summer period. Well, from my experience that's not the case. I had been working for Prolific on this site for three years. My approval rate was high, I got a lot of studies, I gave careful responses, always polite, etc.. One day, I had noticed that I hadn't received any surveys for a couple of weeks and so I emailed them and they gave me the same response as many others on this review site. I had to make an account just to confirm! I used to work for Prolific (doing surveys) before they required all this info. I deleted my account in good standing (2018) and tried to come back today. They have never known how I look. So today I apply, submit identification and was denied with ZERO explanation.
