Good... to start with

I was on a waiting list to join Prolific for nearly 2 years. Finally they accepted me and all was well for the first few months. The studies often had low rewards and periods of time with no studies at all but I managed to make enough to cash out over several months. Then suddenly I started getting a rejected code everytime I applied for a study and I contacted support only to be told my IP address had been flagged! I reckon just like every other 1 star review, I got the dreaded "We're sorry, your account has been placed on hold". Oke, so they ask me contact them and then Like very other 1 star review again, I got the standard reply; "Hi Subhronil (Neal), Thanks for getting in touch. I'm afraid you won't be able to take part in further studies on Prolific because your account has failed one or more of our automated checks, as well as our manual review. Easy integration but waste of money

Easy integration, but could not trust any of the responses. Participants were untrustworthy, raced through and I had to throw away all my results. Waste of money. They need to vet their participants.

I did everything honestly

I did everything honestly. I earned over $60 on the platform but was only paid $9.53. Afterwards they locked my account and claimed that I failed a check that couldn't be reversed. The surveys kept coming and I completed them back to back for hours. If you make over $5 you're going to get banned and you will have dedicated all of your time, effort, information and integrity for free. Don't do it. My experience with Prolific

What made my experience on Prolific.com great is that there are numerous studies or surveys available. I've been able to earn around $50 a week and sometimes more. The cash out process is very simple and you can request your funds be sent to PayPal once a day as long as you have £5. If you have any technical difficulties the researchers are willing to work with you. Some studies/surveys test your knowledge, some are just generic, some are mini games set up by a researcher, and sometimes you ...

I joined Prolific in November, and I have been having so much fun participating in studies. They are fun, and the pay is great.

Immediate ban

I tried joining the site, I never even got to use it as it said my identification did not qualify and when I asked for help they just pretty much said sorry there is nothing we can do, very unwilling to help. It feels very sketchy and wrong to make you provide all your information then ask for your driver's license only to steal that data then ban you with no explanation or way to overturn the ban. Prolific is a great alternative for earning some extra money

Legit

Legit. I've been doing surveys on Prolific for years. The payments always come through promptly and when I've had to reach out to customer service the responses have been helpful.

Account on hold and banned

They put my account on hold and then banned it for no reason. At least I am not aware of the reason, I really don't know what I did and I tried to ask them but they didn't want to tell me anything about it. Customer service was quite rude via email. Really disappointed, I've been there for years.
