Prolific is intentionally blocking access to studies for participants who are not from UK / USA. Back in January, I had issues with linking my profile to a paypal account. I sent them an e-mail. After "revieving" my issue, they blocked my account from further studies for absolutely no reason. At first they didn't wanted to tell me why but then they claimed that in the past I had another account, which is a complete lie and total bs - this is my first and only account on Prolific. ...

Prolific is legit and it allows you to express your own sentiment to the study. In terms of rewards you sometimes get a bonus depending on the researcher. I highly recommend this Platform

Prolific placed an IP ban on my account…

Prolific placed an IP ban on my account for inactivity and support stated that they couldn't remove the ban when I tried to come back to the platform this year. I'm currently working two different remote, part-time jobs with no problems with my IP, even when I've taken a break from the programs. Prolific has terrible support.

PEC-SUB-0002 ERROR GETTING OUT OF HAND

I HAVE BEEN ENCOUNTERED THE PEC-SUB-0002 ERROR FOR MONTHS AND THERE IS NO ANY HELP FROM THE SUPPORT TEAM AND I COULDN'T RECEIVE ANY SURVEYS SINCE THEN.

Its a good way to spend your free time while making a little money, i would be the happiest if there would be more surveys each day.

The studies I partake in often help delay some issues and I enjoy being a part of this team the project protects my data as far as I know which helps in the trust I have with them and I will want to continue being a part of it.

Extremely unprofessional and rude email…

Extremely unprofessional and rude email after participating for two weeks telling me i was blocked yet couldnt give me a reason. Surveys are sporadic and not user friendly. For example there is no back button and you would work on a survey for an extended amount of time only to have it rejected with no reason. I have been having great experiences with other survey sites but this site was such a disappointment. Absolutely the most unprofessional survey site out there.

Account blocked for no reason

Did loads of surveys with this company then all of a sudden they closed my account. Emailed and asked for some sort of explanation to have a really rude email back telling me they wouldn’t be providing an explanation, nor would they reinstate me and to not bother trying to make a new account! I’ve since seen so many people say the same thing.

Easily the best survey site around (for participants at least) Good surveys that are pre-screened - you don't get the trash surveys where you answer 12 questions you've already answered on the site and other surveys and then get "Oops, screened out" They're all fun surveys and most of them go to make a difference in some way or the other, I enjoy the site. Payout is average, you're not gonna make 100s of pounds a month but it's good pocket money and its fast(for the amount of time) Cashout ...

Great but it takes too long to get paid out

It’s a great site and I love almost every single aspect of it. The biggest issue I have with the site is how we have to wait for the research to be approved and for us to get paid. Prolific gives researchers 22 days to approve the study. I understand why, it’s because the research pays decent to pretty good money so they want the researchers who are their clients to ensure that we provided adequate answers and did the study as we were instructed to.
