Mixed experience

Mixed experience. I was notified fairly quickly that I was invited to participate and started doing surveys immediately. I completed about 10 the first day and suddenly, I received an error message that my IP address had been blocked. After inquiring with their support team, they said that some legitimate survey takers have their IP addresses blocked because of their "security" system. The only way I was told to "fix it" was to change my IP address, which I have no knowledge of or interest ...

Completion codes no longer work with new payments system

Proflic used to be great with very few issues. Fast payment and easy completion of studies. However, mt experience is that since the new payments system was introduced, many of the studies no longer have proper completion codes. This means that the study shows as "timed out", even when I have spent the time dutifully answering the study's questions. Support on this is non-existent from Prolific, even when researchers are supportive.

New but so far so good

Haven't been using prolific for very long but I've had good experience so far. The pay has been pretty good from just a couple days experience. It's also immediate and I haven't experience any discrepancies in them. Used contact us once and while not the fastest (half a week) I did receive help from an actual person. Only con is the days between waiting to get paid (72 hours) when you are new and not being quite sure if you are getting the surveys you are suppose to. I also like that we ...

It was a good experience but…

It was a good experience with good reward for you efforts but blocking for no reason what I do not like or understand. There should a good explanation for blocking a participant.

It's worth the wait

It's worth the wait. I took me a month to actually join Prolific after being on the waitlist. So far things are going well. There are studies every day, ranging from 10 cents to $10, and I've already been able to cash out a few times. My only critique is that the site should notifying you when you aren't getting studies because they're trying to make distribution fair to all participants. It's hard to tell if you aren't seeing studies or their system or because there's something wrong with ...

Very sad

After 4 years my account was placed on hold. I was given an explanation, but one which was factually incorrect, and no further response was forthcoming. This makes me feel like Joseph K from Kafka's novel "The Trial", found guilty without any recourse. They didn't even tell me my account was "on hold", that's no way to treat a fellow human being. The studies were mostly very interesting, so I am genuinely sad. however looking at the reviews here, eventually you will be banned.

My IP address was apparently flagged by…

After sending *numerous messages to Prolific over a period of about 2 months (they kept saying my account was in good standing ) Finally get a survey and my IP address was apparenly flagged by this horrible site like many others for *no reason*. You get a generic insensitve BOT response. It is disgusting!! I am a hard working person who enjoys survey's for leisure fun. This site is abusive! It's abusive for your time, mental health and well being to be * coded as flagged* for NO REASON when ...

Prolific is the bomb!

I do not have a bad word to say. Prolific is active within communities and always on top of issues (i.e, Reddit). I have only been on the platform for a couple of weeks, but so far, this is the most reliable and well paying site you could be accepted into. Thank you Prolific, for the opportunity to make extra cash, and for the opportunity to help research progress. :)
