Are you using Pardot?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot) is a marketing automation platform built for B2B teams already using Salesforce. Its integration with Salesforce connects sales and marketing data directly—lead tracking, nurturing, and conversion workflows pull from the same system. The platform handles email automation, lead scoring, segmentation, ...Read more
Pardot pros and cons
Full marketing suite covering automation, lead scoring, segmentation, and campaign execution.
Direct Salesforce CRM integration gives unified pipeline visibility across sales and marketing.
Drag-and-drop tools for landing pages and emails work without technical expertise.
Analytics and reporting let teams optimize campaigns and track performance.
Steep learning curve; custom branding and advanced features require technical expertise.
Pricing is prohibitive for small and mid-sized businesses.

Do not recommend.
What do you like best? Not much. Pardot needs to be up to date with innovations in the understudy. What do you dislike? Supposed to sync seamlessly with salesforce and found so many issues between the two. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Tried to solve a seamless platform between salesforce and pardot. Did not come out that way.

Makes me feel dumb when I use it
What do you like best? Straightforward integration with Salesforce What do you dislike? Menus are frustrating to use because the branching often goes 3 levels deep. Sometimes I'll make a change that won't "stick" because I didn't happen to click things in the right order (i.e. picking the reply-to email address in the email builder. There are too many objects to keep straight: automation rules vs segmentation rules (could really be one, email "templates" vs engagement studio vs list ...

Pardot: Salesforce integration good, marketing automation meh
What do you like best? I like that Pardot's integration with Salesforce is relatively seamless. What do you dislike? I dislike that Pardot's options for incorporating lead gen into your existing platform are kind of klunky, and you're on your own if you ever need to do anything with lead capture that requires more than a basic implementation. Recommendations to others considering the product Pardot can do what you need it to do, for the most part. It will help if your marketing ...

I love Pardot
What do you like best? This software is seriously a lifesaver. What do you dislike? Sometimes the scheduling is a bit wonky. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Marketing automation was a process pieced together before Pardot. Now we are seeing massive time and energy savings.

Easy to use marketing automation
What do you like best? For a Salesforce user, implementing and using Pardot is the simplest and easiest way to get an automation platform up and running. What do you dislike? The reporting doesn’t offer the flexibility or transparency you are accustomed to in Salesforce. Recommendations to others considering the product Pardot offers the same suite of features as competitors like Hubspot and Marketo, but the Salesforce integration is more robust, and the UI is more familiar. What ...
