What is OpenLIT?
OpenLIT is an open-source platform for watching the whole harness an agent runs inside: the agent framework, the models it calls, the MCP servers it reaches, the vector databases it reads and the GPUs underneath. Everything is emitted as OpenTelemetry, so the same traces can be read in OpenLIT or forwarded to a backend you already run. Coding agents such as Claude Code are monitored the same way as production agents. Prompts, evaluations and cost are handled in the same place. The platform is Apache 2.0 with Helm charts and unlimited self-hosted use and publishes no rate card; the enterprise edition is licensed per organisation and a hosted cloud edition is announced but not yet priced.
