Reliable SMTP provider

What do you like best? Deliverability in SMTP provider is key. But, besides that, what I like about Mailgun is the analytics/logging. It's easy to go into logs and find emails in question to see if they were delivered, if not, why not? We tried other providers like SparkPost for another project since they're cheaper, but ended up just sticking with Mailgun because the logging/events wasn't as good. What do you dislike? The only thing I wish was better is pricing for dedicated IPs. A ...

Reliable and affordable

What do you like best? Mailgun allows me to send our newsletter to over 10,000 recipients for a very affordable price. I use a WordPress based Newsletter system that I modified to efficiently send out my emails through Mailgun. What do you dislike? Statistics retrieval is limited to 30 days with my plan. I still need to automate the monthly retrieval process. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I was able to very significantly ...

Mailgun makes adding email to a website, app, or service easy

What do you like best? Previously, handling incoming and outgoing email in an application was a tedious process. Even setting an application up to send out email notifications was something of a burden, and parts of the process were black boxes where locating problems was difficult and time consuming. Mailgun takes all of those pain points away by providing flexible endpoints easy-to-use libraries that make it easier to not only send or receive an email in your project, but to see ...

Very easy to use and great customer support

What do you like best? Mailgun was so easy to integrate with our existing infrastructure. They support an API to send emails through but we use it mainly as a SMTP relay. Just took three or so line in the Postfix configuration to integrate. What do you dislike? There's not much to say here. I would suggest that their logging/reports interface could be a bit more useful. Like being able to see reports on open rate, being able to group emails together, etc. What business problems are ...

The answer to my transactional email requirements.

What do you like best? It was relatively easy to get set up with Mailgun, and it helps that they have a sandbox account for testing. I can also check whether emails I send are bouncing or just plain getting rejected. I had moved over to Mailgun from a different provider, who started charging for their services entirely. I greatly appreciate Mailgn's free tier offering, What do you dislike? Documentation about using more advanced features, such as webhooks, could be improved upon. ...

Mailgun has served us well for many years

What do you like best? The two thing I like most about Mailgun are that it is reliable and developer friendly. We very rarely have problems sending due to outages on Mailgun's end, and the few times that we have, they were resolved within minutes. Their developer friendly APIs make it easy to integrate into our system. And their webhooks are top notch. What do you dislike? Honestly, there's nothing that I dislike about the product. It's really good. Recommendations to others ...

Solid Mail Processing Service With Easy UI

What do you like best? I'm new to my company and had never used any type of mail processing service before. After about 10 minutes of playing around I was able to understand how the system functioned and help troubleshoot customer inquiries using Mailgun. What do you dislike? Nothing really! I don't have much to compare it to, but I've enjoyed using it so far. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Processing inbound and outbound ...
