Mailgun solves a difficult problem, in a fluid and easy way

What do you like best? It has been almost 4 years now that we are using mailgun. The best thing is that after setting it up, we didn't have to do anything else. It just works and in the rare chance of a problem, the mailgun support team is very quick with a solution. What do you dislike? Sometimes it is quite hard to pinpoint the exact problem with a suppressed email. We need to find out whether we caused it or a spam filter accidentally blacklisted us. However I would like to ...

By far the best transactional e-mail platform available

What do you like best? It is blazing fast, has a very rich and expressive API, support for incoming e-mails and triggers, as well as doing detailed logging of failed messages. The cost is also very reasonable; you can find cheaper alternatives, but not with the same reliability. What do you dislike? I've gotten a few issues in the past with the Mailgun IP being caught in spam filters due to other tenants abusing the platform. However, I'm content with the amount of scrutiny they ...

Perfect solution for transactional emails

What do you like best? It's the ideal service to complement shared hosting plans where you may be issued dodgy IP addresses and need something more robust and secure to send your transactional emails out with, What do you dislike? The only negative experience I've had with Mailgun is when using the API to send to multiple recipients at one go. The instructions weren't sufficient clear to me and I ended up sending one email with all my recipients' email address in the To field ...

Happy MG User of 3 Years & Counting

What do you like best? MG has great ability in email delivery. It’s also really reliable as I have not heard my website users complaining about not receiving emails. The sort of new intuitive design makes me like MG even more! What do you dislike? Nothing to complain really (which is why I’m still with MG until today). I was just hoping that we have a mobile app (or even just a responsive design enough to fit reports/graphs in mobile browsers). In short, maybe MG can improve its ...

Easy & cheap

I would prefer something that uses less memory & which loads faster. Recommendations to others considering the product: This service is good, I recommend it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We've used Mailgun to send out email ...

Easy to use, but allows complex setups

What do you like best? It's so easy to use, and it's so fast. I was up and running in just a few minutes, and managed to transition almost every client — and my own organization — to Mailgun without considering it a major resource constraint. It's also very easy to scale up to your needs. Start simple, and build from there. What do you dislike? Almost nothing. I wish the marketing was better. THat's a weird thing to say, but I really wish that the marketing better showcased ...
