great tool for reporting needs

What do you like best? easy of use to set up and to build data models. good for data exploration for multiple audiences What do you dislike? some functionalities that are not available such as progress bars etc What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? atuomated reporting for external and internal clients. good for building models for ad hoc questions so clients can answer questions on their own (less bottleneck)

Could do what we do without Looker

What do you like best? Customer Support is phenomenal. Always going above and beyond even if the question cannot be answered on the first try. The The APIs to build our App is the key to our success. Programmatic automation is a HUGE selling point in developing our app. The architecture to build the models and abstract the SQL is a HUGE productivity (aka $$$ saver) What do you dislike? I love Looker, super helpful and intuitive

What do you like best? What I like best about Looker is the ability to integrate it with our data and empower business users to get analytics without required a developer (or team of developers). What do you dislike? So far there isn't anything that I dislike! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We've been able to get better insight into our data to help us make more informed business decisions.

My experience with Looker as an Analyst and Developer has been GREAT.

What do you like best? PDTs allow our analytics team to write custom queries and write the results to temporary tables. This is vital to our function within our business. What do you dislike? There should be options for hover-tips on a field category level. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Deep-dive analysis on segments of our business and user experience.

So far my experience has been more pleasant than expected.

What do you like best? This is my first conference but I like the informal approach to the whole conference. Usually these are pretty stiff. What do you dislike? I didn't like how fast a lot of the sessions i wanted filled up. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? My Looker Review

What do you like best? Easy to use and has great visuals. The people there are also easy to work with. What do you dislike? needing to learn another language to write lookML. I don't have any other issues with using Looker as it is pretty much direct for me. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? getting dashboards embedded into our app. Providing reports to our internal stakeholders and able to let our internal people create their own reports.

Great product

What do you like best? I like that the features Looker releases are well tested and don't result in many bugs. What do you dislike? There's not much to dislike. However I would like it to be more automated. For example automatically populating possible joins using primary and foreign keys. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Many different problems. I help companies write their LookML.
