I have only had a couple of instances where I had to use gocardless support, and each time my request has been dealt with in a polite and quick manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending an organisation collecting fees or subs to use gocardless.

Why do Gocardless set up their direct…

Why do Gocardless set up their direct debits anonymously? Why don't they detail the Company that the Direct debit is set up for? I have a disabled relative who gets cold called and sets up direct debits over the phone. I manage his financial affairs and I do not know who is behind the direct debit. I cannot tell you how much time, energy and stress this causes me. Gocardless are just one of many that do this.

What do you like best about GoCardless? I started using GC in 2016, when looking for a good value DD solution. I found the Banks did not do it well. I tried this for regular accountancy fees and have not looked back. Settig up DDs is simple with a great sign up process, which is secure. Payments are collected on time and paid out, to me within one working day. Currently there are no charges for returned payments.
