I was using a cheap product that worked…

I was using a cheap product that just did the basics. Attended and unattended access. But it just worked. It didn't matter what platform you using to connect to the remote host. A friend told me about ConnectWise and said it was light years ahead of a super expensive, full featured, tool they were using but a lot less $$$. The fault is mostly mine for not doing a better job testing before buying, but my subscription was up on what I was using so I dived in. I work mostly from an iPad. ...

Not easy for the person on the other end

For remote support, the process of getting the user to click on the right things and say 'Yes' or 'Accept' could be easier. It's not always clear to the user what needs to be done; sometimes we need them to start a video phone call so we can walk them through it. We can email them screenshots as a quick ref guide but that shouldn't be necessary.

Extremely reliable

Extremely reliable. Connection never drops. Love it that more than one person can connect to the remote computer at the same time.

Vi er meget tilfredse

Connectwise control har fungeret godt for vores virksomhed, sammenlignet med det vi brugte før (TW), så er det lysår foran. Mulighederne for at skræddersy det til eget behov uden at skulle have andre ind over er guld værd.

Convenience and control

I'm a one-person IT dept for an organization with over 150 users. I absolutely love the convenience of ConnectWise. It is great being able to help users from anywhere I have an internet connection. The only issue I've ever had was a time when I needed to elevate permissions and the program wouldn't let me. Other than that it has been flawless and I wouldn't do without it.

Disparate features in support and access

Some of the plugins and features that are restricted to Access licenses only (remote deployment, reports, for example) would greatly enhance the value of Connectwise Control. The division between support and access license features makes me have to decide between the two options, and either maintain two separate licenses (which I won't do), or pick whichever option has the better features, and accept that I'll miss some.

Great option, room for improvement.

Overall, this is one of our top picks for remote management of workstations, servers, etc. The management UI is great, provided functions and tools are great. Deployment options are all straight forward, quick, and about as easy as it's going to get. Where it falls short:The connectwise screen connect control interface is not consistent across platform. Windows and Mac OS versions have a very different UI. Mobile app doesn't allow login via facial recognition/fingerprint, etc. If any video ...
