Chime sucks, period
I have not received any transaction notifications in nearly two months, same with the morning bank account notification. And now the "virtual card" feature is garbage. Recurring payments still go through if the physical card is frozen but not the virtual card. I'm switching to a brick and mortar credit union.

Worst customer service of any loan group They are not a Bank only some loan group do not do business with these sorry people if you disagree with them they will screw you over and keep you from signing in

Avoid chime at all costs!
I had an absolutely terrible experience with Chime that left me stranded on the freeway at midnight, putting my life at risk. On August 22, 2024, I made an online purchase, and the amount was deducted from my account immediately. Fast forward to August 25, and I find my account in the negative because Chime decided to charge me again for the same transaction, claiming it was “pending.” When I contacted customer service, they told me I’d have to wait up to seven days to get my money back, ...

Second Chime Review!! I've now been a Chime Customer for over 6 years, since the beginning. I've watched Chime evolve over the years into an amazing online banking business. I stand by Chime, still to this day. They have my back and have bailed me out some tight spots more than once with the Spot Me and My Pay options. Fraudulent account opening, no action from Chime.
I received emails that asked me to verify an account that I did not set up. I called to report the fraud. The customer service was AWFUL. The person I spoke with did not seem to understand the seriousness of my call. I told him my email address, explained that I had not set up the account. He looked up the account and said he would remove my email from the account. He would not close the account unless I provided my personal information. What kind of "bank" or financial institution doesn't allow you to own your own checks? It is kind of cool they'll do that for you. I had no idea I couldn't use mobile deposit features unless I enroll in autopay. Just plain lame and limiting.

Since I have had chime there hasn’t been a single paycheck that goes in my account two days before payday it’s always the day we get paid when I get my check. It’s false advertisement

I have been with him since they started I am not one to dispute a transaction unless it is necessary I disputed a charge on my card they accepted it and gave me my money back then said I didn't have enough evidence and wanted the money back again this month the money was taken out from the same company that I did not authorize my card to be charged there is no phone number there is no email there is no contact information yet they were allowed to take my money again.
