It's been 2 weeks and I cannot get into my account because of that stupid verification system. It will not accept the back of my license and I have the latest phone with an awesome camera. The lightning is right and it is not expired. They tell me this is the only way I can access my account. But they are able to access it. I have tried countless countless times to no avail. I have been with Chime for 6 years
I have been with Chime for 6 years. In January of this year, I had 170 dollars worth of random charges listed only as Google. I got 2 text messages asking if they were me to which I replied no. I immediately get a text back telling me not to worry and that nothing was taken out of my account. The next day 3 more charges identical to these others are listed on my account so this time I called because obviously the texts they send mean nothing, And dispute it. I requested to be removed from emails, and they still email!! Isn't that ILLEGAL?
This company has horrible customer service, and dishonest business practices. I say run! Use any other bank besides Chime!!

Chime is the absolute worst financial institution in the history of financial institutions. They are liars, they are unfamiliar with their own policies, rude, and their customer service, if you want to call it that, is no better than talking to piece of concrete.

I would give this company a zero
I would give this company a zero if it was an option. They can hold your direct deposit paychecks for up to 3 pay periods. I get paid monthly, so after three weeks of no paycheck deposited and getting disconnected with customer service multiple times I closed my account. Then they sent me an email saying they were discontinuing our banking relationship.

I have been with chime for some years now and I bought some insurance I payed 131.90 for it they took my money I thought I was good. we’ll when my insurance was not taking money from my account I called them and they said I never paid them and they canceled my insurance so I call chime because the money was never returned. Chime keeps money and denies disputes
Generally speaking Chime was ok, no real issues until recently. From reading others complaints, it's a commonality to have errors, file a dispute and they deny it so they keep the money! I filed a dispute for a transfer, the person said they didn't get it, it shows on my account it was paid. So how can they deny that the payer said they did not receive the money, it's suppose to have been returned to the bank, but I don't have it either. How many thousands do they make just by keeping our money?

Stay away! If you have an unauthorized transaction, and file a dispute, you may get denied like I did. On April 7th there was an unauthorized transaction $59.98 on my account. Cancel the debit card, and waiting on a new one to arrive. On that same day I had another unauthorized debit for $91.06. Luckily the was declined due to the fact I canceled my card. Five days later Chime refused to refund my money. This is not the first time I had issues with Chime. I'm going to a local bank. Where I ...
