Customer service is extremely lacking

Customer service is extremely lacking. You leave a request for help via a chat box. It is then 24-48 hours before someone reaches out to you via email. Then they may answer your question, or they may not. Help is: An email question/answer PER DAY, which is actually a link to their help page. I've been having the same conversation about one item for 7 days. They will answer you once per day, then you reply and it's the next day before you get a non-helpful LINK to the help page to ...

Terrible Product and Nonexistent Customer Service

I migrated to Appfolio about a year ago and I’ve regretted just about every minute of it. Not user friendly at all and they have no customer support. Every one of my employees hates it, the tenants hate it and it’s very hard to find an accountant to hire in-house who has experience with it or can figure it out.

What do you like best about AppFolio Property Manager? Appfolio makes entering bills and getting them paid so easy. You can also Bulk bills which saves you A LOT of time.

Useless app

They’re now charging every single tenant that is forced to use their useless app a transaction fee, even for bank transactions. Rip off. Land lords, please do not use this company.

Unhappy about transaction fee now added to bank transactions when it used to be free prior to 7/31/23. I'm considering this a rental increase. I'd recommend landlords and tenants to stop using Appfolio and go with another service. I also sent comments to Appfolio via email and they never responded.
