AppFolio customer support…isn’t.

AppFolio customer support is disappointing. There is no customer support phone number. So if you are in immediate need of help, here are your options: 1. Ask the community of Appfolio users how to solve your problem. This is interesting but also lame. As a paying customer, I don’t want to have to rely on other paying customers for support. 2. Good but use to be great

Great software and have been using for 10+ years now. It does exactly what we want the software to do however, we do not feel valued as a customer with the most recent price changes feel like they are trying to nickel and dime you along the way. Use to highly recommend but, would suggest looking around first before choosing now.

Bait and switch

Classic bait and switch. When we first signed on, they said the only fee would be $1 per unit. Now they are adding $2.49 per ACH transaction. We used to be able to get customer support on the phone. Now we have to find help ourselves using the Help Center and reading posts from other users.

Terrible company with AWFUL customer…

Terrible company with AWFUL customer service and tech support and GREEDY practices. If you are having an issue and need assistance from appfolio tech support or customer service, they LITERALLY START replying 24 hours after you reach out. There is no way to call them on the phone, the option is disabled. You would have to text them and then wait 24 PLUS to hear from someone. The ACH $2.49 fee ruins this company

The ACH $2.49 fee ruins this company. Also very poor customer service with no response to issues. After using for 7 years will change to a software solution that doesn’t charge residents an ACH fee to pay their rent.

We paid the $1/door, but AF *still* charged $2.49

We opted to pay the $1/door for our tenants/HOA owners. AF took the fees from our account, but *also* charged the $2.49 fee to those paying by e-check. Further, I paid my company the management fees for my HOA clients, by echeck on 8/1. AF "sat" on the fees for One Week until they transferred the fees through their clearing house.

Classic bait and switch

I have been an AppFolio customer for 6 years. For 6 years the company pushed and pushed and pushed us to transition all of our tenants to paying via ACH. How convenient since they now charge each tenant a $2.49 processing fee to pay via ACH. AppFolio isn’t a cheap property management software. The classic bait and switch. They get the landlord/PM company to get all the tenants on the electronic system and then jack up the price. Terrible customer service!
