AppFolio Property Manager Reviews in July 2025: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

Very good product

Very good product. Pricey for small operators like us. Some activities are way over complicated due to the target audience being much larger multi-property, multi-owner operations, which we are not. When you leave a well thought out suggestion for improvement and you never hear anything back, you feel slighted. Most support requests are promptly responded to. Could not do my job without this or a similar product. Have not priced a competitor since going with Appfolio.

Software works well, but support staff have disappointed us multiple times

Software works well, but if you have a question and need support from appfolio staff they are not timely..... and of course when you need them its usually when your trying to provide a report by a deadline, pay an owner by a deadline or assist a tenant by a deadline. These types of things cant wait weeks and at year end I heard so many excuses when I would actually get a call it was very frustrating. If you don't get help from the support person that takes your support ticket and you ask ...

Appfolio for HOA Management

We use Appfolio for HOA management and it has almost all the features available in other HOA management software. The differences between the other software and Appfolio is Appfolio's ease of use, the multiple drill down features, and Appfolio's continuous addition of new and meaningful features.

5 star rating for a 5 star company.

I gave a 5 star rating because they are a 5 star company. AppFolio always moves forward to make your job easier. If they do not provide a certain service I guarantee they are working diligently on how to accommodate every company they sign up with them. The software has been the best thus far from any other company we had in the past. Software is extremely user friendly and the support team not only guides you they make sure you understand everything before you are done.

I love using Appfolio. Yes some things could change but over all I love it!
