Great PM software

Great PM software, they are always improving functionality for owners, residents, and our property management team.

Software works well, but support staff have disappointed us multiple times

Software works well, but if you have a question and need support from appfolio staff they are not timely..... and of course when you need them its usually when your trying to provide a report by a deadline, pay an owner by a deadline or assist a tenant by a deadline. These types of things cant wait weeks and at year end I heard so many excuses when I would actually get a call it was very frustrating. Very good product

Very good product. Pricey for small operators like us. Some activities are way over complicated due to the target audience being much larger multi-property, multi-owner operations, which we are not. When you leave a well thought out suggestion for improvement and you never hear anything back, you feel slighted. Most support requests are promptly responded to. Could not do my job without this or a similar product. Have not priced a competitor since going with Appfolio.

It is very good at organizing people, files, and data, but some of the property management specific tasks give it trouble. There are a lot of tasks, especially involving lease renewals that take a very long time, and things I would expect to auto-populate like late fees, or changes in parking rent, need to be entered manually.
