Appfolio has been a tremendous tool for our business. It helped us to achieve our goal of consolidating to one platform for accounting, ACH payments, mass communication, application processing & inspections. Customer service is usually very efficient in troubleshooting. Of course there are always some items on the wish list, but they have been making constant updates to their system.

I do love Appfolio...but
I really do love Appfolio. It's made dealing with our tenants, owners, finances, etc so much easier. I really only have one or two issues. I like the bulk e-mail when I'm sending out emails to tenants and even guest cards. But, bulk texting would make a world of a difference. It would cut my time in half when having to send guest cards. When we have a new property we get atleast 200-300 guest cards and sending an individual text is extremely time consuming.

Overall AppFolio is pretty amazing
Overall, we have loved the AppFolio experience. The GUI is responsive and intuitive, and the customer service was absolutely amazing when we started in 2018-2019. Though, the quality has admittedly weakened a little since then. AppFolio is noticeably geared towards residential properties. They have made some strides towards better commercial inclusivity, but I believe other commercial management companies likely have to make similar workarounds with templates, guest cards, report format, ...
