I would give the software 5 stars but…

I would give the software 5 stars but the support only 1 star. I love the software, but the help menu doesn't match the screens most of the time and the live help doesn't get back to you for days, if at all. And they close out work tickets without resolving the issue.

AppFolio Review - TCS Mgt LLC

AppFolio is great, their customer support is top notch. One item we would like to see in the future is the ability to turn off the function of tenants being able to pay with credit cards. We have seen a uptick in fraudulent charges, rent payments getting disputed 90+ days after receipt, and it would be helpful if we could turn off the CC function for payment for tenants who have created issues.

A review of Appfolio

PROS: It has plenty of worthy features. The thing that I love most is being able send a text message to tenants and owners via the site itself. We constantly receive phone calls. If I'm able to send a message to a person, it'll save me a whole lot of time. I love how they can provide courses/seminars on dealing with the product's latest features.

The property management side works…

The property management side works pretty well, it lack substantially on the accounting side. It does not follow GAAP. A more significant issue is the lack of support. We took on a new client with a large property and needed support to set it up, we are over 60 days from our initial request and have yet to reach someone who can assist with the accounting side. We have been passed from party to party with no resolution. It is also difficult for us to provide the quality service our clients ...

The lack of follow up and availability to direct customer service is a serious problem. I started using this software on November 20th, 2020. I entered a question. regarding my bank accounts on December 28th, I have the case number, as of today, May 29th-Still not response or communication to correct the problem.
