We have used AppFolio for many years now and I love them, not perfect but they are light years better than our previous software provider. Good implementation of all property management elements

PROS: The messaging application is perhaps the most useful function to us. I can have an overview of the plan by the maintenance department with the renter, their message log and even special agreements. It's a centralized location for notes, emails and letters that we can all collaborate to provide our renters, investors and sellers a cohesive and consistent conversations.

The on-boarding process was excellent

The on-boarding process was excellent. Lots of support readily available. However, after we went live, the support availability has been unsatisfactorily slow. Yes, the “help button” feature is nice but sometimes you need personalized assistance with a PERSON ON THE PHONE!!! Sometimes, this is the only way to resolve an issue. It’s been my experience that when I email the support team, it can take the better part of a week to get an email response, and thus begins a back-and -forth. I’ve ...

A system that is convenient to use

PROS: Greatly appreciate AppFolio for being really convenient and compatible with different platforms. CONS: There are lacking features to make certain tasks smooth in AppFolio compare to other application to. But AppFolio keeps releasing updates so I'm pretty sure it'll be available soon.

What do you like best about AppFolio Property Manager? The search feature of just typing in any bit of data populating towards a resident, property, or prospect is enormous! We have a lot of assets with many addresses, and this makes searching a breeze.

Stay away from these people

Stay away from these people. They cannot deliver what they promised due to issues with their program and now they want to keep charging for a service they cannot deliver as promised. They are good salespeople so beware. It may wind up in court.

Customer service is non existent!!

Customer service is non existent. The online portal is not user friendly whatsoever-it redirects you over and over again. The robot chat says to email them, the phone system says “we will be with you shortly” and “for immediate assistance you can chat with our customer service online”. After being on hold for an hour, the phone system directed me to leave a message, then hangs up… all while I’m waiting for a human being to get on the chat and all this is after I submitted a simple claim ...

"Easy to use and full of features!"

What do you like best about AppFolio Property Manager? Appfolio has a very user-friendly interface, but I mostly love that I can group properties together and store important tenant data on their files.
